Merriman Hotel

Nice hotel, food delicious, staff v friendly and helpful, traditional music was great, beautiful area but weather was terrible, but would be beautiful place in summer. Easy to get there.

First room was dirty and had not been serviced
They were very apologetic and gave another larger room which was very cold
Given 2nd heater that was broken
They bought a 3rd heater and left in room but they didn't plug in so room cold
Breakfast nice next morning and staff helpful

The hotel staff are lovely but the bedrooms do leave a little to be desired, they are very tired looking and need an overhaul, The shower is grubby, the grouting is dirty and the radiator in our room didn’t work, the beds are not comfortable, we complained and they moved us to a family room which was marginally better....all in all it just needs some work doing, we wouldn’t be any rush to stay there again, but the staff are very lovely

After looking through a lot of reviews I was pretty confident that it would be a good place. We were so excited to be in beautiful Kinvara. We parked in the lot in back and the sign over the door stated entrance. I was a little disappointed in the entrance I know it was the back of the building but it could be Mae to look nicer. When we got upstairs. The rugs in the hallway were all stained and entering the room I was very disappointed. It was very dated. The carpets were not in the best conditions and the curtains were dirty and you could smell the dust when opening the window. The bathtub had areas around the shower head that ere disgusting g. They could simply spray bleach and clean it. I was so disappointed We did see a room across the hall when they were cleaning that ones updated. But we were not happy.

Stayed for 1 night and the staff were very friendly. The room was lovely if not a little dated but in saying that it had all you needed for the great price you paid. The breakfast was great as was the meal at the bar downstairs. Would definitely stay there again.

Loud on the street side from traffic noise. Also 2 beds blushed together

Hotel is conveniently located on Main Street within a short walk of the harbor.

Lovely place to stay with very friendly staff.The room was a good size and the hotel had loads of character. The breakfasts were great and the dinner we had in the restaurant was also very good quality.

The Staff was extremely lovely! We had left a bag at our last hotel. Kathleen, at the front desk, drove back the two hours to get it! A special shot out to Kathleen! She saved our holiday!!!!!

Nice location in the heart of Kinvarra. Good amenities and easy parking.

Bed was very good. Thached roof was unique. Good breakfast.

Found staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Our bathroom door wouldnt even close let alone lock.

Reception staff not particularly welcoming & in fact somewhat abrupt .. bar & breakfast very welcoming & helpful .. no heating in room & had to request heating be checked &/or turned on ..

Family gathering , family room a littke dated but fine , breakfast fablous ☺

Nice place, clean & quiete. Very central, nice pub too.

Such a quaint stay and homemade food was very good
