Voor zo'n klein hotel in de binnenstad van Alkmaar een fantastische accommodatie.
Pros:

We moesten om 4 uur in de morgen vertrekken, maar s'avonds werd ons al een fantastisch ontbijt ter hand gesteld

Cons:

Zou het niet weten.

Ideaal gelegen hotel om Alkmaar en omgeving te bezoeken.
Pros:

Het hotel ligt vlak bij het station en tegenover het busstation van Alkmaar en op loopafstand van het oude centrum. Ideaal om de stad te verkennen en om even naar Bergen of Bergen aan Zee te gaan. De hotelkamers zijn verdeeld over gerenoveerde huizen rondom het gebouw. Ik kreeg een vierpersoonskamer met keuken en een fijne douche. Vrij basic, maar netjes afgewerkt en goed schoon. De bedden waren zacht en comfortabel. Het ontbijt (buffet) is prima. Continentaal, met altijd wel wat extra's zoals pannenkoekjes, een gebakken of gekookt eitje, zalmsnippers, tonijnsalade. Het was een prima verblijf!

Cons:

Een kast of kledingrek zou wel makkelijk zijn, maar misschien komt dat nog, want de kamer leek pas opgeleverd te zijn.

Parkplatz 14€ Gebühr obwohl in der Beschreibung stand inklusive. Waschbecken hat einen großen riss. Lichtschalter fürs bad im bad hinter der Tür man steht quasi immer im Dunkeln und muss den Lichtschalter suchen. Fernbedienung tv lag unter der Matratze kein Hinweis darauf wurde erst bei Abreise gefunden. Schrank ohne Kleiderbügel.

Great stay but expensive parking.
Pros:

The room was big and clean. The staff was very cooperative. Great hotel.

The parking - there is no parking and for several hours I needed to pay 19 euros on the street automat.

Voor de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding een prima hotel. Verwacht ook geen luxe bij vd Valk.
Pros:

De check-in ging super. Ivm mijn late aankomst werden de gegevens verstuurd met hoe ik tot de sleutel kon komen en waar ik moest zijn.

Cons:

Het onbijt was duidelijk zichtbaar, dat het de ontbijtspullen waren van de dag(en) ervoor. Kaas was enigzins uitgedroogd en het bruine brood was niet vers. Er waren wel verse afbakbroodjes en ik zag ook warme pancakes.
