Masal Apart

I loved the area. Walkable to everywhere. It’s quiet, soundproof. Amenities are perfect. My husband and I enjoyed everything. The view is beautiful. I completely recommend this place.

Excellent location and the property owners are very helpful. The staff who work there were accommodating and kind despite the language barrier. The lovely man who worked there went out of his way to help us with anything we needed. The view from our balcony was amazing. Thank you!

Those photo are ages old, the condition of the property is not as good!

Wrong picture, no coffe machine, one glass ; impossible to use terrasse too hot and no sunshade. It is not a hotel but a private apart. Nothing to clean, no dishcloth.
The picture you see is not the apart you rent. You have to climb 60 steps. Very noisy.Need paint.
But the owner is fast to get your money with a smile.
Forget about it. It's a scam

We truly enjoyed staying in this lovely apartment.
The location was the best: in the very heart of the historical district, less than 10 minutes walk to Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc. Close enough to public transportation which we used.
There were a refrigerator, a stove and a kettle (no coffee maker) which we used to make our breakfast.
There was a terrace with a view to a next door mosque and Marble Sea.
There was a small shop where we were buying what we needed for the breakfast, including the water (the tap water is not advisable to drink but is OK for brushing teeth or cooking).
A number of restaurants that were making a great food.
The lady who was the hostess was reachable immediately via WhatsApp.
We lived on the top, 5th floor, and the place does not have the elevator – so guests should be able to make it there plus to take their luggage. That was not an issue for us, though.
If we decide to visit Istanbul again, we will stay at the same place if it will be available.

Great spot for exploring local landmarks while on the European side! Nice spot for a family or small group, and the balcony was awesome. Our host was very nice as well. I recommend it for any Istanbul first timer who wants easy access to Hagia Sofia, mosques, bazaar, etc

Muito bem localizado em Istambul o apartamento facilitou nossas férias por estar próximo de vários pontos turísticos e da estação do bonde. O apartamento possui cozinha equipada com os itens essenciais, o que ajuda bastante para estadas mais longas. Além disso, ficamos no apartamento do 5° andar que possui uma sacada com uma vista ótima.

I really like the balcony, thought it would have been better in the summer. The local area is a historic, touristy area. Beware that there are no elevators and having the balcony room involves climbing to the 5th floor by stairs. Some of the pictures involve different room layouts, so we thought that our specific room was going to be larger than reality.

Great location but lots of stairs if you take an upper room but had a great roof top view.

Good location, the communication was a bit difficult but in general is ok for a short stay

Toalettten var bra, duschen var bra. Köket var parktisk. Dock saknas viss redskap. Fläkten funkade inte. Elementen var varm under sommarperioden. Går inte reglera.

Alhamdulillah it was perfect for a family of four, had a little issue which was resolved by the management. Would use again as it’s a perfect location too..

exepedia, avendo disdettato l'appartamento che avevo prenotato con parcheggio, mi prenota questo appartamento. Al ceckin con la donna della pulizia, non mi danno informazioni sul parcheggio, ma fortunamente trovo, per fortuna (è sabato sera!) un parcheggio per strada sotto casa a 7 euro al giorno. La posizone della casa è stupenda, vicinissima a tutte le attrazioni raggiungibili a piedi. La casa è anche di un certo prestigio ed è diffcile capire perchè abbia un terzo letto (da aprire) scomodo e con materasso duro. Per l'accoglienza penserei che dia da lasciare un poì di caffè, te', sale zucchero, olio..l. Per il resto tuttooltre ok.

I liked the apartment, and I also appreciated the location. Access to our apartment was via a winding staircase to the top floor, and that was tiring.

Stay was very nice. The customer service provided by Mrs Irma and Paco was excellent. They took care of us, and facilitated everything for us. Communicaction was excellent. The contact manager was always responding quickly, and gave us quick answer to our questions. We left our luggage for a couple of days b/c we traveled to another city and had to come back to Istanbul. Irma took care of our luggage and to make sure we had everything we needed when we came back. The only issue we found is that the apartments do not have elevator, but that is something out of their control. Other than that, the apartment had everything, including a washer. My wife and I are very pleased with our stay at Masal. Location was also excellent, close to the historical center.

The hotel is in a great location. It's refreshing to see that the room's condition was just like on the photos, newly renovated and very comfortable. Fully equipped spacious apartment with very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting istanbul.

Difficult to contact with them for check in, so we waited for more than half an hour by the street

Erg ruim en perfect gelegen hotel / appartement. Zeker de moeite waard als je wakker wilt worden in centrum Istanbul.
