Situation excellente et dépaysante sur les remparts et proche de la mer , proche des restaurants et des activités (boutiques, plages …)
Chambre de charme bien aménagée.
1) La personne de sexe féminin chargée de l’accueil téléphonique au moment de la réservation et à réception de la chambre était vraiment revêche, voire exécrable. Avare en explications sur le parking et ses modalités d’utilisation et s’adressant sans politesse même à ses collègues de travail. Je n’ai jamais été aussi mal reçue dans un hôtel de toute ma vie !
2) La literie dure et inconfortable chambre 220 était bien en dessous des attendus pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, pas de surmatelas.
3) chambre exiguë et porte la douche difficilement maniable et refermable… aquaplash garanti si grand gabarit !
La froideur de l’accueil et le caractère peu confortable de la literie ayant déjà été signalé dans les retours clients, gageons que ce retour sera sans effet ? Quelle déception que cet hôtel !

Un peu trop chaud dans la chambre
L’emplacement préliminaire, le conseil sur les restaurants de la part du personnel, et les équipements SDB vraiment top.
On est sur un concept bancal, qui nous a déçus. C’est indiqué « Spa » et « Piscine ». Mais tout est en supplément, et même un simple accès piscine n’est pas possible. À ce prix, je trouve cela très déplacé.
La parking pas dispo car déjà complet, alors que nous sommes arrivés à 16h!!
Chambre basique, certes, mais vraiment petite, très sommaire et peu lumineuse.
La chambre encore, ok, mais ne pas pouvoir juste se glisser simplement dans la piscine pour un établissement Spa, c’est vraiment pas top. Nous avons demandé pour réserver et le lendemain, il n’y avait que le sauna / Hammam de dispo avec supplément.
Bien loin de ce que l’on s’était imaginé. Dommage.

All the staff including breakfast team were really welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay.
We visited La Rochelle for the rugby and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to walk from the hotel to the ground, as well as visit all the local points of interest
Great location in the middle of the city. Everything very easy to walk to from the old town to the rugby stadium. Restaurants 1 min away. Harbour 2
Mins away walking. Hotel lovely, secure car parking a bonus. Staff very helpful and very friendly and chatty. Definitely recommend for a long weekend away.
