So Hotel de la Monnaie is listed as a 4 star hotel. I think the rule of thumb seems to be if you're from the UK then you knock a star of for comparison, which would then make this a 3 star hotel. And in my opinion that's what it is, not to take anything away from it as we really enjoyed our stay here, room was great, clean, sound proofing was excellent, either that or the other guests were super quiet, staff were nice and helpful, breakfast was ok, nothing to get excited about, but it was fine.
Location is absolutely excellent. Overall a great stay.

Perfect location from which to explore La Rochelle. very central to all restaurants and bars and to the harbour. Very dog friendly.

On m’avait dit que le parking était fermé à cause des Francofolies. Mais arrivés sur place, le parking était à nouveau dispo. Entre temps, je n’avais pas pu réserver de places. Ils ne m’ont pas contactée pour me proposer le parking. Finalement ils ont trouvé une solution, suite à mon insistance. Mais en ayant

Excelente ubicación, en el centro , rodeado de bares y restaurantes, se puede ir andando sin problema. Mucha limpieza y personal amable . Cama amplia y muy cómoda y excelente ropa de cama y toallas de calidad. Buena experiencia.
Hay pocas plazas de parking y estaba completo, tuvimos que llevar el coche a parking Verdun bastante cercano y buen parking con buen precio.
