Always good to check back into the Altera. Appreciate the size of rooms, small kitchen, comfy bed and balcony. Service is great and it is well located for walking but a little off the beaten path so nice and calm in a chaotic city.
Lovely hotel. The facilities were great and the staff were even better. The room is lovely and clean and the hotel feels well looked after.
The location of the hotel is good, central to Runway market, bars, Second road and Beach road, room was very nice, even had a microwave.
Staff are nice and friendly, nice swimming pool.
However there was some disappointing things, lack of sun beds at the pool area, this is vital for guests?
Breakfast was disappointing, most of it was cold, coffee machine was churning out cold latta
Ah also nearly forgot to mention there needs to be at least some control over smoking and non smoking areas around the pool and bar area, its like the wild west, you can smoke anywhere and the complimentary drink is actually a big joke, you cant have a beer only some weird green drink, this was a con.
My recent stay at Hotel Altera was very disappointing. The breakfast was awful, with very limited options that seemed catered mainly to Korean guests, and there was no variety or quality selection. Tables were left uncleared, and the overall cleanliness of the dining area was poor.
The complimentary drinks voucher was also disappointing — it could only be used for a single green soft drink that staff couldn’t even identify the ingredients of.
The pool area was another letdown, with too few sunbeds for the number of guests. The staff in general seemed uninterested in helping or providing good service, which made the stay feel unwelcoming.
The gym was very small and poorly equipped, lacking basic floor mats and space for any proper workout.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It needs major improvements in food, service, and facilities before it can offer a satisfactory experience to guests.

I have stayed here quite a few times now and it has always been excellent. The staff are fantastic, friendly & very helpful. Surprised me on my birthday with a cake which was a lovely piece of customer service. I would highly recommend a stay here if you visit Pattaya. Top class. Looking forward to staying here again.

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Pattaya, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
All of the room facilities were in perfect working order, the water pressure and lighting were just right, and the calm atmosphere of the room made it a very relaxing space. It had a touch of harmony style that made it feel especially peaceful here.
The hotel is located right in the center of town, just a 1-minute walk to the nearest convenience store, and very close to the nightlife area as well. Despite the central location, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was inside the hotel, No outside noise at all.
The pool is on the ground floor, but the surrounding scenery is lovely, making it a great spot to unwind.
Breakfast is served from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a wide variety of delicious dishes. I was very satisfied.
The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile whenever we passed by. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality gave me a great sense of comfort, knowing they’d be ready to help with anything if needed.
This is a hotel I would definitely recommend to any friends visiting Pattaya and I will come back again for 100%

The room I stayed in this time had no hot water in the shower, which was very disappointing.
The food and the room along with the whole atmosphere and the check in process were excellent.

Other than the intial counter girl during the check in~prior review, super staff and the facility. Rooms been remodeled and beats more expensive compeeting facilitys... job well done
1. Room is big but bath tube is not clean enough.
2. The air conditioner in the main room is not powerful.
3. The swimming pool is good!
4. The waiter is bothering during breakfast time, because they want a 5-star review on google.
5. Only washing machine but have no cloth drying, and does not provide washing powder, dishwashing liquid which let the apartment loss it's function.
Great Hotel with very nice staff in a perfect location. From check in until check out everything was great. Recommended for solo traveler
