Cosy, Comfy Hotel near Gare du Nord
Pros:

Location, location, location! Walking distance from both Gare du Nord et Gare de l'Est. About 2km from Louvre and Notre Dame. Very friendly staff (24 hr front desk) Our room (312) was a decent size, with shower over a bath. Breakfast was quite good, and reasonable value for the location.

Cons:

By far the biggest issue is lack of a/c -- in the height of summer it would be stifling. For us it was ok, early Sept, with the fan on constantly. Can't see there being any problem in spring or autumn. The room faced the street (south) so was warm when we arrived. The lift is pretty wee, and only goes up 4 or the 6 floors, and stops mid-floor, so there are always some stairs.

Chambre quadruple proche de la Gare du Nord
Pros:

Chambre familiale propre située sous les toits, proximité de la Gare du Nord (7 minutes à pied).

Cons:

Pas d’ascenseur pour accéder au 6ème étage (il s’arrête au 4ème). Il fait chaud dans la chambre, heureusement que la température extérieure n’était pas trop importante car les ventilateurs sont un peu faibles.

Good deal for €90 a night in Paris
Pros:

Bed was extremely comfortable, and location was great

Cons:

Air conditioning wasn’t worth Turing on as it seemed to not work, shower also flooded the bathroom as drain slopes away from the drain

The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean.

Cons:

Nothing much the hotel could do about it but the street outside was very noisy at night - lots of shouting and sirens late at night and then noisy deliveries very early in the morning.

On peut accéder à l'hôtel à toute heure.
Le personnel est très gentil, ils proposent même de garder le bagage et de revenir le chercher dans la journée
Chambre et salle de bain propres, lit confortable, endroit proche de la gare du nord et est. On peut trouver facilement des restaurants autour pour le dîner
