Old smelly hotel
Pros:

When I booked the room online I chose the room I wanted. But when we arrived at 3:55pm, we were told that the room hasn’t been cleaned yet. We explained that we had an event to attend. The young lady at the desk switched us to room 419.
When we got off the elevator there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway.
The room smelled okay but the decor was substandard.
The description of the room was a king bed with a sofa sleeper. There wasn’t a sofa or sleeper in this room.
There was a water sprinkler protruding down the ceiling.
The refrigerator didn’t fit inside the cabinet.
The bed looked as if the covers and pillows were just pulled up.
The carpet had burn marks and the furniture was worn out.
The shower floor needs to be seams need to be re-grouted.
The breakfast had very limited options.
Pros:
Plenty of outlets for charging.
The staff was the stars of this hotel!!!

Staff AMAZING , Beds and carpet Garbage
Pros:

The staff was exceptionally helpful and professional .
The breakfast was perfect & well stocked .
My biggest issue was the first thing I saw
A huge stain that looked like pee or oil in the center of the floor.
I tried to overlook that everything else was fine and then we've called the blanket down. There is a ring around the comforter and duvet, and the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, and you could feel the springs in the bed.
I understand this had nothing to do with the staff.
I would highly recommend upgrading the bedding as well as the beds .

I did not complain at the time because we were over four hours away from home and attending my great nieces cancer benefit .
It looks like she is dying..
That was the reason I was there.
I do appreciate the fact that our two service dogs pug's were treated fine. They know we were able to pay them and they slept on their own bed and playpen as well as we brought a porta potty grass for them.
We never had issues with their comfort & let me emphasize, the staff both Breakfast crew and customer service was excellent.

Coming from someone who travels.
I would extremely urge an upgrade in carpet , bed and bedding .
Or that steam clean the carpet.

I am wondering why my credit card has not been released for the incidentals yet as well.
100$ is a bit much,
But I do understand we are out of town .
Aside from making the bed so I did clean everything up, including towels and trash, so there should be minimum that needs done to the room to clean it up just changing the sheets and I am sending a video that I took on the sheet and the duvet, just so you can see..

They hold 400 dollars if you’re a local resident which is insane. Probably lost a regular customer due to this

I recommend this hotel for a nice comfortable stay

Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable bed. Nice walk in shower. Enjoyed having a couch with a little table that I could put my food food and drink on. Great location surrounded by tons of restaurants and 2 coffee shops near by
