Great value for money!

Service staff needs training

Nice view in a quiet location

Cons:

The check in staff did not charge me a deposit when I checked in even though that was confirmed in the booking email. Later I ordered food and drinks and intended to charge it to my room. When I got back to my room, they called me in the middle of my bath to say that they needed me to pay for dinner because I didn’t put down a deposit. I called the front desk and told them I wanted to pay the deposit because I also intended to order more food and drink later and pay for everything at the end. They said I could give my credit card to the staff who would then charge the deposit. Minutes later I saw a charge on my card for only the amount that the dinner costs, not the entire deposit. I then had to go downstairs to make sure the staff understood how to charge a deposit and to reiterate the really basic fact that hotel guests want to charge everything to the room and pay for everything once at the end.

At the time, I was interested in the serviced apartments and residences. The manager said she asked the staff to email me with information about living in the residences, but they did not. The next day she asked me if they had contacted me and I told her I didn’t get any email. She said she would ask them again to send me information about the serviced apartments. I did not receive any information or communication from them.

The the hot water heater does not have enough hot water to fill the tub.

Surprisingly nice hotel with lots of amenities. Overall very clean and comfortable with the exception of mold on bathroom door in my room. Lots of food options nearby.

Lovely hotel in a good location.
Pros:

Excellent hotel, room was very spacious and clean. Facilities are excellent, good gym, pool, tennis courts and a drive range.

The walk in to the old quarter and other local attractions is pretty straight forward. Takes about 20-30 mins, taxis cost buttons and take about 10-15 mins.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Pricier than other hotels but it’s got the luxury feel about it at a very reasonable price.
