Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in Thamel. Nice breakfasts. Fairly quiet even though in the middle of Thamel. Very nice courtyard to eat/relax in. Very comfortable bed.

I hope Tibet Guest House can resist gentrification.

It’s reliably the same: it weathered COVID: the staff is excellent

I appreciated the help of the staff in arranging bus tickets and a taxi.
Pros:

the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

the breakfast menu looked very varied, but what was available was actually very limited. an evening menu was also in the room, but on the night I asked if I could eat in, there was no food available.
they seemed unaware of my booking, possibly because it was through Booking.com, but fortunately had a room. it seemed that they then found the booking, and upgraded me to another room.
this also meant that they did not respond to my requests to be picked up at the airport, despite it being said on their website that they did a free pick up.

Great stay
Pros:

Such friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond. It's a great location in the centre of Thamel, although the area is busy the place is quiet and relaxed.

Cons:

We liked everything, no complaints at all.
