The breakfast was good. I had a funny monkey as a visitor. The people at the reception were very nice, they helped us with transportation from the airport to the hotel. I really enjoyed the dinner on the roof, the atmosphere at nightfall, the traditional live music. The hotel as a whole is a museum piece, a picture of Indian culture. Udaipur is an extraordinary city. I really enjoyed my stay in this place.
The bathrooms need some improvements.

Staff is really nice and rooftop view is really great..candle light dinner with city palace and taj palace is awesome
Laundry services are quite expensive.
Great helpful service, pleasant staff. Common amenities are well maintained. Great sunset views. Hearty breakfast!
Slightly rough around the edges. Rooms showing age.
Utterly spectacular hotel - we have travelled the world extensively and this has to be the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)! The Reception staff treated us like we were their VIPs and made every effort to make our stay memorable including a free upgrade and a complimentary room whilst we waited for our flight - The paintings, furnishings, scale, swimming pools, service, breakfast offer are all stunning. Location great with rooftop restaurants in walking distance; Tuk Tuks wait nearby too. We couldn’t believe our luck and best of all the price was reasonable … if you visit Udaipur this hotel will blow you away
All amazing - we felt very special - Thank you very much for such incredible customer service
the staff were fantastic, especially the manager and the food hall manager
The hotel feels very tired and poorly maintained. The rooms were disappointing and absolutely not worth the price. Wherever you looked in the hotel, there was something wrong — either unsafe or in need of repair.
The food was average at best and overpriced. Over the course of three days, we were moved between six different rooms, which was extremely frustrating.
The outdoor swimming pool was unusable, as pigeons regularly bathed in it and left droppings, using the waterfall as a washing area.
Very comfortable hotel. Very nice outside dining area and great food
Palatial feel. Really good n caring staff
If there were small balconies in the room to sit out and enjoy the natural surrounding.
Kamers waren zeer bijzonder.
Topkoffie.
Large and beautiful room with comfortable bed ! I would highly recommend it!
The room is not very well isolated and there was sometimes a lot of noise in the corridor but that’s a detail
