The location was adequate and very good for the bell free golf course would definitely stay there again but breakfast was disappointing with chipped balls cold plates and food. Chairs were not comfortable in dining area and service was not prompt enough in delivering food but very happy with the room and the foyer service and staff.
There seems to be a lot history to the building, which was not exposed enough for people to read about and to explore
The Jacobean building is stunning. The gardens are beautiful too. The location for us was great.
Our room had been recently renovated so that was very comfortable. It could do with hooks to hang towels in the bathroom.
The service is unbelievably poor, which is ruining a really lovely hotel.
A male staff member checked us in. He was pleasant and informative. We waited for 3 guests to check in before us. Meanwhile, a female staff member also at the reception desk sat appearing to do very little except drink a drink with a straw, which was irritating. She looked up a couple of times with disdain that we were waiting!!
We had a drink before dinner. The bar service was poor - not knowing what nonalcoholic or soft drinks were available.
The bar had no music, so was uncomfortable as people tried to chat quietly.
We ate in the restaurant. No staff were present. We had to return to the bar to ask what we should do. Then I returned again to pick up menus.
A waiter took ages to arrive. After taking our order he returned a few minutes later to check as 'he couldn't remember '!!
The food took about 40mins, considering there were very few guests in the restaurant was slow.
The food was good though.
A single lady had ordered just after us & chased her 'burger' only meal twice. She waited over an hour. Another couple sent one of the dishes back as it was wrong.
Such a shame. The issue is there's no experienced staff to oversee the young staff that seemed to just be trying. Definitely not 4* service!!
Reception staff were excellent.
Untidy corridors looked liked they hadn’t been hoovered in weeks.
Pillows were hard.
Stylowy pokój,wygodne łóżko,smaczne śniadania
W dniach kiedy w obiekcie są imprezy okolicznościowe (wesele)trudno o miejsce parkingowe
Comfortable
Dirty. Old. No professional photography sign in the room suggesting the rooms are booked out for awful uses. Would not recommend to people.
Building, grounds, history, breakfast, staff,
Inconsiderate guests slamming their doors at 7am in the morning ... some of us are on holiday!!!! No fault of the hotel but maybe more reminders for guests are needed
Breakfast was awfull warmed up
Bacon and sausages
That had been lying for Hours under
Metal covers
Breakfast
Really friendly staff. Just refurbed as well
Nothing
Hotel staff unhelpful, hotel shabby and tired, stay constantly disturbed by weddings plus no separate area to escape wedding guests. No room service, no bar music. No one serving behind bar, don’t we wanted a drink we had to go ask in reception. Drinks placed on dirty tray, food wasn’t nice. Just awful stay
The room was extremely clean and the facilities were excellent
Early check in would of been better
