Polite friendly staff - room comfortable and clean
Pros:

The property is stunning .
We did have a top floor room that took some climbing.
Room was adequate.
Shower powerful
Bed comfortable - tea making facilities good .
Evening meal was delicious!!!
Would recommend…

Cons:

The breakfast was buffet
Did not enjoy the food not a patch on evening food .
Tea/coffee from flasks Luke warm
Sausages hard poor quality no flavour ..
Pastries hard no taste .
not enjoyable experience…
I feel the hotel should seriously look to improve the quality of their produce - cook fresh to order would be a massive improvement.

Clean but needs a lot of updating.
Pros:

Lovely setting

Cons:

Room was very cold and storage heater didn’t work, very basic tea and coffee tray, hairdryer needs updating, trucks loudly reversing in car park right next to the room, receptionist on departure really unprofessional with previous guest and not much better with me 🥴

Pros:

Food choices were excellent. Received friendly assistance whenever needed. Great access via lift to my accommodation.

Cons:

I would have liked a non-slip mat in the shower cubicle.
I didn't like the hair dryer operation (having to constantly hold down a button to operate).
The heated towel rail in the bathroom wasn't working/turned on.

A fantastic stay with beautiful surroundings, amazing food, friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Pros:

The place was absolutely fantastic. The building and gardens were beautiful and very well maintained, creating a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The food was amazing, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also excellent, close to many places to visit and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t fully enjoy was the massage session. The therapists were nice, but they were talking and laughing a lot during the treatment, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the experience.
