Pros:

Pleasant hotel with an old-fashioned (in a good way) feel. The highlight was the excellent full Welsh breakfast, particularly the good quality and plentiful bacon. Also good that more toast was offered and that the breakfast serving staff were cheerful.

Placement, short walk to the centre and a pretty walk, room was lovely, breakfast was very tasty. Enjoyed it all will hopefully be back again.

Very comfortable stay. Staff were very nice and welcoming. The hotel was very clean.
Pros:

The room is very clean and the lounge is very nice. Overall very nice and quiet neighbourhood.
Hot breakfast is served after you order. They also have various breakfast options on the side (cereals, fruits, etc).
Staff were very nice and polite. Car park available on the back of the building which is a plus as you have to pay for parking if you book a hotel in the city centre.

Warm friendly, happy and very homely right from the second we walked in! The staff clearly love where they are and it’s
Pros:

Beautiful property with so many period features. Ceilings were high it just felt incredibly open.
Parking was great and rare to find in city hotels!
The pictures don’t truly show how grand this building is! Loved it!
It was so close to Blackweir fields which is the venue of the gig we came for, but also Cardiff castle!

Cons:

I can’t find a single negative.

Beautiful hotel, perfect breakfast
Pros:

Beautiful period property. Super location, 20 minute walk into the centre through a beautiful park. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
