Always very pleasant and easy going staff
Great position on Cathedral Rd, nice walk through the park to town 15-20 mins. Free Parking on site.
Very clean, friendly staff, fab breakfast, cooked option made freshly to order.
Only problem we had was a banging water pipe that woke us up at 7.30 both mornings. We were at the back of the house. Otherwise very quiet, it wouldn’t stop us staying again.

2nd stay here. It’s a great location for easy access to the city centre, for hospital visiting at St David’s, for Sophia gardens and just down the road from our favourite Italian restaurant. Beautifully furnished, love having a lounge to sit in and breakfast is good quality.
Sadly, our bed wasn’t very comfortable on this stay. Be aware that there are lots of stairs (which we knew). As my husband walks with a stick we might book a bigger room next time and hope it’s on a lower floor! But we will return as it’s a great hotel.

Lovely warm hotel. Very nice breakfast cooked to order. Friendly staff. Car park is a big bonus in Cardiff . Large nicely decorated room on fairly quiet street. Excellent location very close to the park and short walk to town

Price a little excessive however, the 6 nations Rugby was on hence the price. All accommodations in the area had put their prices up.
Great location for town centre with a couple of lovely Italian restaurants nearby. Host was lovely. Room was nice but expected a bigger room as we booked a King Room. Facilities were good though.Very clean. Breakfast was good but poached eggs were a bit hard however thats a personal preference as I like a runny yolk.
Other than the size of the room and the non runny poached eggs there wasnt anything I didnt like so to speak.
Breakfast had plenty of choice and the full welsh was excellent . The staff were polite and friendly .The room was spotless . Good location walk into Cardiff centre .
The bed matrress was a bit springy and pillows could have been bit better ..but overall the room was spotlesly clean 😀
