Nice resort with amazing value, been back a few times already over the past 2-3 years. Joined the cocktail class this time, and it was very enjoyable. Thanks to Harry for the great HIIT session too.
I was so overwhelmed with all the staff, from reception, club lounge, breakfast restaurant, beach etc, they are so courteous, helpful and kind at all times, really appreciate that.
Yes, English may not be perfect but they do try their best and they will indeed learn and get better. Glad that Hyatt are investing in local talent.
I noticed banisters being out up on the steps that is excellent.
Gorgeous Ocean view room with club access and turn down service. Plenty of amenities in the room including water.
Tranquil, Beautiful clean beach
Plenty of sun loungers, cabanas any time any place, all with padding and plenty of towels.
Good security
No wrist bands at this resort 👌
Excellent service throughout, restaurants, bar, pool beach etc
Club Lounge, very good service and good choice for breakfast and evening drinks. Water, soft drinks and coffee available throughout the day.
Grab taxis very convenient and reasonable
Only slight con just for me is no sunset views or evening entertainment.
This hotel is absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained. We finished our trip here and this hotel did not disappoint. They have thought of everything in the rooms and the interior is stunning mix of wood, floor to ceiling windows, big balcony and really nice bathroom. We will be back!
The resort is huge, and very well keept on the outside, the pool, flowets, gatden etc. We had booked a sea-view room with club access. We were upgraded for our 9 day stay to a one bedroom recidence apartment. With also the sea-view.
The room was large, but kind of under/old style furnishing. So had a «cold» feeling, not a warm welcoming feeling. The main window wall towards the sea was really dissapointing. The windows was so dirty it looked like a light sun screen was in front of it. That issue could not be fixed as I was told they only clean those windows 3-4 times a year.
The railing and table on the balcony was also in needfor some much needed TLC.
The club lounge was oK for breakfast, but it was a waiting time for tabels some mornings, and orders took a while. A pot of tea took 20 min. one day.
At night for coctail hours it was mainly ok, but a few nights it was a waiting game to get a table. Somebody had to leave before you could get in. This is a premium service they charge good money for, so to not get access in the announcec & promised opening times is not good enough. Any suggestions from my part to solve the waiting game was declined.
So we’re not sure if we would stay here again.
Globalist treatment was amazing. We reserved a standard suite and were upgraded to a beautiful two bed/two bath ocean front room. Food at breakfast was plentiful and varied. I appreciated the Vietnamese choices and the salted coffee options. I actually preferred their Pho to a Michelin starred pho I had in Hanoi.
Everyone was super cordial and attentive. Kids club workers were also very sweet and of course my kids clamored every day to go. The kids loved the zip line, feeding farm animals, and the rock climbing wall.
The complex is so big with so many things to do that we didn’t even get to do everything we wanted to even after three days.
Two things that could have been better: some of the walls/fixtures inside the residence could use a refresh and sometimes the food in the club lounge at night was limited and the staff ran out.
My husband and I are already trying to plan our way back.
I recently indulged in a truly exceptional spa experience that exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance was incredibly serene and meticulously designed for ultimate relaxation. My massage therapist was a true artist, Sunny, possessing an extraordinary level of skill and attentiveness. She skillfully addressed every point of tension, leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated. I highly recommend this Vie Spa for anyone seeking a professional and deeply therapeutic treatment.
Spent 3 nights here - booked a basic room and they seemed to want to sell their residencies (guess it’s easier to sell classic rooms on other platforms) so we stayed in the B block 1 bedroom residencies in the end on the 9th floor
Overall a brilliant stay, we’d definitely come back and plan to with our families later this year or next
I thought a pros and cons would be easier as I took notes as the days went along so I wouldn’t forget anything - there are more cons but the cons do not overweigh the pros , like I said it’s really good value for money, they location is excellent and it’s a well thought out property!
Pros
- fans in the bedroom and living room
- Large fridge
- the dinner restaurant by the sea was excellent
- location is great - not too far from Ho Ann or the city
-property is large enough that there are always quiet pockets
- sheets were lovely, bed was super comfy and the pillows too
- little thoughtful elements when cleaning - they sort of know what you need and clean accordingly
Cons
- blasting party music from Bose speakers near the cabanas which drowns the ocean sound and you cannot hear anything else, so I had to move away
- Zero service to any pool loungers - you have to physically go and ask someone and they charge for water they bring to the cabanas, this is strange and the first time I’ve encountered this
- Most of the service staff don’t understand or speak English - anytime we asked for anything they would have to find another staff member that would understand, simple things like ‘is it possible to turn this speaker down’
- They have a special vegan chickpea ‘omelette’, they brought it with ham which I nearly ate and noticed quickly before putting it in my mouth
- No extra towels in the room - so if you’ve showered once you’re using a wet towel while showering again
- Furniture is quite old and dated and needs changing . We covered some of the furniture with white sheets
- No way to watch Netflix on any of the tvs - very very old tvs that even with an htmi cable the sound and picture quality was not good
- No bedside light switches or night lights to get to the bathroom
- No ledge or shelf to put any bathroom products in the shower, you have to put it on the floor of the shower
- The shower gel , shampoo and conditioner is bad quality , no known brands and I used my own
cheesy pop - it was a disaster and they need to take a hint because with a full capacity hotel, only 3 tables were taken
- they need to clean their windows across the property, they have beautiful views but not clean windows to see them through
boxing coach, Harry Pham, is so nice.
Enjoyed the environment of class.
Recommend everyone to have a try
Wendy Mai gave the most wonderful experience. I have had allot of massage in several countries and she listened and performed better than anywhere else. Highly recommend this person.
Loved this place!
We really enjoyed our stay — there are so many things to do, and we were genuinely impressed by how well maintained everything is. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
It’s a great place for families, and we would definitely come back again, especially to bring the kids. Highly recommended.
I went for two of the 9am exercise sessions. Harry Phan was awesome. He’s really energetic and friendly, and put together an intense and really fun kick boxing and HiiT workout. I highly recommend his sessions
We recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Danang as a family to celebrate our folks anniversary, and overall it was a memorable and very comfortable experience.
We were kindly upgraded from our original booking to a villa, which was a lovely gesture—thank you especially to Thanh for making that happen. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Kai was wonderful in driving us down and showing around the villa on arrival, helping us settle in. Andrew deserves a special mention for being incredibly sweet, attentive, and patient with all my requests throughout our stay.
The service across the resort was consistently warm and welcoming. The entire breakfast team was fantastic—efficient, cheerful, and genuinely attentive, even during busy hours. The staff at The Baguette were equally impressive: helpful, quick, and always pleasant to interact with. Housekeeping was absolutely on the ball, keeping everything spotless and well maintained.
At the heart of the experience are the people—Hyatt’s staff are polite, accommodating, and truly service-oriented, and it shows in the overall atmosphere of the resort.
The property itself is gorgeous and beautifully spread out, with facilities that cater well to all ages, from young children to seniors. As a family traveling together, we found the stay relaxing, spacious, and easy to enjoy.
That said, there were a few inconsistencies that stood out—small, but noticeable.
While tea and coffee were provided in the room, there was no milk or creamer, and it took a couple of follow-ups to understand that evaporated or condensed milk could be arranged. The villa upgrade was very much appreciated, but we only discovered upon arrival that the bedrooms were located upstairs and accessible only via stairs. As we were traveling with two 70-year-olds, this was challenging, and it would have been helpful to know this in advance or be advised at the time of the upgrade.
There were also a few maintenance and design details that felt out of step with a resort of this calibre: missing day beds, a fan regulator that wasn’t working, no proper space to place soap or your own stuff in the shower, very abrupt hot/cold water controls, and older TV sets. Did I mention there are no bidets in the toilets. None of these were deal-breakers individually, but collectively they were noticeable in today’s context, especially when traveling as a family.
I also learned—after checkout—about the hotel’s sustainability and environmental efforts. While commendable, none of this was communicated during our stay, and we continued to receive bottled water in plastic daily, which felt at odds with those initiatives.
Overall, Hyatt Regency Danang is a stunning resort with everything one could want, elevated by staff who genuinely care and serve with warmth and pride. With a bit more consistency, clearer communication, and attention to some practical details, the experience could truly be exceptional. I hope the team takes note, because the foundations are very strong.
Rachel is very good!
the yoga class is relaxing👍🏼
service is so good. I definitely recommend Hyatt
I like it
Harry is a very nice Boxing Coach
Wonderful morning in Hyatt
Reception give us the schedule for the free event in fitness room
I look forward to meeting the coaches in next 4days
Loved my stay at Hyatt Danang! Friendly, helpful staff—especially Zoe, Emma, Tracy & Khanh Linh. Everything was great!
We checked in at around midnight as we had a red eye flight. Despite the late check-in, we were warmly welcomed by staff. We were also pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite in Residence C. The suite had everything one could ask for in one's stay: the living area was huge, the balcony was overlooking the beach, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils.
Location was a nice middle ground of being in a quiet peaceful area but still just a short taxi away from the city centre and airport.
The resort itself has superb amenities: the pools and resort were beautiful, there were plenty of recreational activities for both parents and our toddler. It was a nice getaway.
Should we come back to the DaNang, we will definitely book again with Hyatt.
Hospitality was awesome!
Apart from that, the property is vast and beautiful.
Not to forget the awesome breakfast and the amazing bar!
good location, rooms need furniture updates and add some techs too, nice to have abet of music around the pool area , food and beverage prices need to be re valued as its higher by 10 times compare to outside fine dining prices
A Hyatt Globalist Review
Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa was easily the main highlight of our trip. This was ana absolute beautiful huge property. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. They Decorated our room and even baked us special desserts for our special occasion.
There were lot of activities at resort, but we didn’t get chance to do them. Private beach access was another highlight.
To make our stay extra special they even offered us breakfast at their main restaurant Osteria, which we really appreciated. Eating make you own pho and drinking Vietnamese coffee daily made the best mornings.
Regency club was the biggest highlight of our trip and staff accommodated my wife’s dietary restrictions. They made sure we had specially made to order veggie options and I really appreciate this.
As a Globalist they even upgraded our room to an Ocean view once which I truly appreciate.
The Staff was amazing throughout. Really friendly as well. We enjoyed some amazing cocktails during Happy Hour in Regency Lounge. Breakfast was pretty good too. They are always ready to help.
Also recommend the steam and sauna rooms and jacuzzi at the gym level.
Harry Phan is a good tutor. He teaches very well and the environment is very nice too. Good to do some exercise in the morning.
