Great resort near the shoreline in La Jolla.
Pros:

Perfect location a block away from Scripps Park and the Children's pool. Walking distance to many good restaurants. Our suite was quiet, nicely appointed and well-maintained. Breakfast was included but was a simple buffet.

Cons:

Even with renting a suite, we had to pay for parking.

One of the best places to stay on the La Jolla Cove - just perfect.
Pros:

Pantai is a beautiful hotel - located only 100 yards from the cliffs of the La Jolla Cove, it is scenic, comfortable, and a little funky. The rooms are all unique and spacious, and very livable. On our last visit we only stayed one night, but the Pantai is perfect for longer stays and a perfect hideout for all the regions attractions.

Pros:

Miranda and Dorey were excellent hosts for breakfast. The food was excellent. They went about and beyond to make our experience special. Full breakfast buffet. Dorey brought me and my husband a special treat from the kitchen of freshly baked peanut butter cookies. The were delicious.
We recommend this nice, quiet Inn to anyone. The view is amazing. The service 5 star and clean.

Better than we even hoped for!
Pros:

My husband and I could not have been happier with our ocean view at this beautiful inn and at such a reasonable price! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly with special mentions of Fal and Norma. The grounds are beautiful, there are accommodations to meet all kinds of travelers needs, the breakfast offerings delicious and the peaceful environment exactly what we needed! We look forward to returning!
