Good parking - location fairly central
Very hot on second floor (first too)

The standard of the room was poor, extremely tired and worn, the mattress was woefully thin and lumpy, the shower pressure was terrible, the TV was very small and there was no cooling fan on a very hot weekend. However to be fair the price was low.
A very quiet room close to all facilities and attractions at an affordable rate. Good breakfast served by the host.
Parking was a little hap hazard and tight leaving very little room to get started the next morning.

Not enough milk in the room
On site free parking. Mini bar fridge. Room clean and comfortable. The hotel has seen better days, but for work stay, it was ok. I would stay again.

Toilet continued to fill for over 10 minutes after flushing. Light over the mirror didn't work
Maria our hostess as Marie was away, was absolutely incredible. Wonderful lovely lady who made sure everything was perfect for the 10 of us for my daughters 40th Birthday.
Breakfast offered everything and was cooked beautifully. Balmoral is an old building so it is showing bits of wear which is understandable but had everything you need at an excellent price. Merci beaucoup Maria formidable.
As we knew quite a way from the main front at Southport but a good walk. Buses oposite etc. are available.

very friendly and helpful staff and good service for low price budget guest house, stayed there many times and will continue to use them.
Long time for hot water to run through in the taps and shower, TV reception poor in some rooms.
