The Tavern Hotel

This hotel is an absolute gem in Cottonwood. Right in the middle of town, with probably 10 restaurants and at least three winery tasting rooms within three blocks. Also boutiques and speciality stores to visit. The hotel is nicely decorated, with comfortable rooms, and very clean. Hotel desk staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Just a very contemporary feel in a historic building.

The Tavern was our favorite hotel on this trip. Not only was our room and bath lovely, comfortable and clean as a pin, the 24-hour front desk was kind and really there. We loved the location near the old town shops. A real treat was the Gift Cards we used for meals and drinks at the nearby Crema Craft Kitchen and Tavern Grill. Their service and food selections were great. We would stay here again for sure.

We ran off for our anniversary to enjoy some wine and food and this was a great base to work from. We stayed here and went for float pod time in Sedona and then wine and dinner in Jerome. The hotel itself was great with a big room with a big bathroom and its own balcony with chairs. The room was comfortable and quiet. The grounds have a nice feel to them too with plenty of useable common areas such as a fire pit. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would happily go back again.

The location of this hotel is hard to beat. Everything is within walking distance.

We recently stayed here on the Stay and Sip package. What a great value. The staff here is wonderful. The rooms are clean and feel brand new and the mattress allowed my wife and I to have a great sleep. We definitely will be back.

We absolutely loved the Tavern Hotel for our getaway to Cottonwood with friends. The presentation of the hotel from the reception area to thoughtful seating areas (and a firepit ) to the layout of the rooms was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was great. Very quiet property and cute downtown. Lots of nice walkable restaurants, shops and wine tasting venues were all on Main Street. This was our first rip to Cottonwood and we enjoyed kayaking on the Verde River and exploring vineyards in Clarksdale. We cannot wait to make another trip and stay at the Tavern!

Wonderful! Each visit feels like the hotel is brand new! 5 star amenities, cleanliness, comfort, and curbside appeal. The pool area was a relaxing surprise! I almost hate to provide this review of the quality and luxury you get as it will ruin the secret of this wonderful place. We got a Main Street balcony view this time. Perfect before summer. Book before you plan a wine/foodie tasting so you can imbibe without worry of driving- just walk back to your room. Return to your luxury room ready to relax. Consistently perfect. It's all the little things you want for a stay. Can't wait to book my summer stay! Gotta grab my room before you do!

This hotel is so cute and clean. We booked the “Sip and Stay” package. We felt it was well worth it. Our girls wine trip was a lot of fun. We will be back.
