Hotel Meeting Santacroce

Nice clean room. We had planned on staying for dinner after a long driving day but there were multiple events and no availability for reservations. The staff made us reservations at a restaurant in Sulmona which was a short drive away, we ended up having a wonderful dining experience. Nice hotel

Great concierge staff. Breakfast was not up to par. Reasonably close to old part of Sulmona but you'll need a car or taxi to get there. Located in an industrial area, nothing nearby to walk to.

During our stay in Italy, we had to make an emergency hotel stay and booked on-line for this hotel. To our surprise it was delightful. Room was clean and comfortable. Great restaurant on location. Staff was friendly and attended to all our needs.

The staff is wonderfully helpful! It was my first time staying there and I had no idea how to get there from the train station. I called and (I speak VERY little Italian) The receptionist was quick to help me find a solution of having someone from the hotel come and pick me up. I did not have this pre-arranged so I was very grateful for her quick google translating skills and getting someone to pick me up - all with in under 10 minutes. Unfortunately, this hotel has a sister hotel super conveniently located - which I thought I had booked. I was only staying one night and this hotel had a free shuttle service so it was fine. However it is located in the middle of an industrial park So I suggest you stay at the one that’s located very close to town.

The restaurant was very good with high quality fixed priced meals and options for a la carte. The room was clean and well appointed.

Great place to stay while in Sulmona. Short drive to the city Centre. Clean, friendly staff and a nice place for a solid sleep!

Excellent hotel in a rather surprising location (an out-of-town industrial estate - lots of safe parking though, and very quiet at the weekend).

Quite difficult to locate so don't leave it till it gets dark if you can help it. The sat nav didn't get us there we had to ask around.

It was a nice hotel and the breakfast was also good. The restaurant was closed the night we stayed and it was difficult to find anything but fast food in Sulmana.

We loved and enjoyed it only there wasnt much variety choices for breakfast!

We were greeted by very friendly staff upon arrival and they ensured all our needs were met. The room was clean with a nice sized bathroom which had a bathtub. Our room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The decor and artwork were lovely in the lobby and foyer areas. The gardens and pool area very beautiful and well maintained. The onsite restaurant offered dinner specials and the meals were excellent. A nice buffet at breakfast as well with the offer of American style if wanted. The hotel owners are on-site and friendly and interact with their guests. Internet and parking were important to us and both of these were provided with our reservation.Although located in the industrial side of Sulmona, it was quick and easy to drive into town. The location enabled us to explore the Abbruzzo region - Sulmona, Pratola Peligne, Introdacqua and L'Aquila. The receptionist provided us with maps and good directions. Overall, a wonderful hidden gem in Sulmona.

Wonderful place

I was extremely pleased with the accomodations. The staff was friendly and efficient, the restaurant had a sophisticated yet affordable menu and the dining staff service was first rate. I will visit Sulmona again next year and I will stay at this hotel again. They went out of their way to take care of me.

Everything was quite satisfactory. The only thing was that it is quite far from the Sulmona town center. Staff were friendly and provided everything required. Great mountain views.
