View
1. It was not clean-woodwork black
2. Bed was awful- soft and bedding kept falling off bed
3. Bathtub finish peeling off tv and water never got hot
4. Smelled from cleaning agents, rooms below smoking even when I asked them not to smoke and awful smell from food from restaurants below
5. No shampoo and soap that didn’t even clean
6. Property in total disrepair- rotten wood everywhere, including steps
7. Nice by the lake but in the middle
Of nowhere on a dirt road
8. Breakfast was a bar and a rotten Apple
Do not stay there
This is a bit of a dated hotel but the staff was friendly, the room clean and the view was great! Really enjoyed having our own balcony to watch the sunset over the water. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Had all we needed for an overnight stay. The area was great for walking around, too.
Just could be updated but really a nice place.
Didn't have breakfast. Love the location and the views. Old Florida vibe. Really good restaurant on site.
Lots of construction next door. It is my understanding that they are going to demolish the original building and build another one. Hate to hear that. It may need some updating but a new structure is really going to change the Old Florida feel and give them an excuse to charge more. We have stayed there at least 5 times and makes us really sad.
Very nice neighbors next door but for some reason when they came out to fish, they set up their chairs in front of our patio view by the water and they smoked so that's what I smelled, not the water.
The view of the marina from our patio was gorgeous. Having a couple of restaurant choices that were walkable was also great, especially given the motel is kind of in a neighborhood. I liked the sunset.
The motel needs updating. I know it's a 1-star place, so my expectations were low, but the reviews were so GLOWING I expected a diamond in the rough or a kitchy nostalgic vibe. It was just a mostly clean, almost run-down motel with a great location and incredible view. The beds were very uncomfortable, the in-room amenities were dismal. Three locks on the door were concerning and set a sketchy tone. Th
Location
A bit falling apart
Locatie was goed. We konden laat inchecken met een sleutelkastje en code. Vriendelijke receptioniste die tips voor de omgeving gaf
Gezellig restaurant met lekker eten.
Oud en beetje vergane glorie.
The location and staff.
Everything! We had been to the area before and was like "blah". This visit at this marina/port was 100% different. We didn't have to leave to do ANYTHING. This place provides so many amenities that you don't have to go anywhere else. The people are all so friendly and pet friendly!!! We rented a pontoon, swam with manatees, kayaked, and swam in Three Sisters Springs. AND Weechi Wachee Springs was only a 30 minute drive...
I wouldn't bother staying anywhere else in this area especially because there is a small affordable gift shop on site as well as food. I recommend the cobb salad and smash burger!!! And lastly: THE VIEW is OMG! While dining we saw a dolphin and he put on a show of his own!!! Best vacation ever!
I'm a big girl, the shower was kind of small but they are building new rooms right now which would remedy this anyways!
Great location . Especially if you’re diving with the manatees at 6 in the morning .
A lot to see in the surrounding areas. Must have a car though
I wish the breakfast was more than a couple of take away biscuits 🍪
I did like the view
The hotel is seriously in need of an update. The wooden stairs going to the upstairs rooms looks like it is rotting and needs to be redone. The bathroom smelled really foul, the TV didn't work right {no remote), the phone to call the front desk didn't work. Just really a bad experience. Stay away.
Ottima posizione a Crystal River e la vista sul molo è molto bella
Struttura parecchio datata
The location, just an ok room. Very outdated snd lass then we expected it to be .
This location is excellent. I have been staying at Port Hotel and Marina for years and absolutely love the vibe.
It makes me sad that they are building next door. Port Hotel and Marina should maintain the historic "Old Florida" vibe and embrace that it is a special location that doesn't need updated.
Great staff. Perfect location. Dockside restaurant very convenient and good. Good value for money.
Hotel and rooms are dated and in need of some TLC. Some noise from adjacent construction site.
We've been going for many years. If you want to experience manatees and dolphins up close and right out your back door, this is the place. Also beautiful sunsets and getting back to nature. Bring your best camera with you for this trip. The Port itself is a little weathered but it is clean and safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
