SABAS Beach Resort

Very disappointed with my stay here. They put us in a room knowing the ac didnt work and told me they knew it didnt work. after unpacking everything, we had to pack again and move to a smaller room. Then move again. Very inconvenient and not relaxing. Breakfast is included but they didnt tell us they charge for stuff like milk with your coffee, while i dont mind paying but tell me before hand. Also left my wallet in my room and said i would be back to pay but the guy came banging on my door like if i was trying to steal even though we are staying here and had a couple days left. Just dealt with things you shouldnt deal with on vacation. Things like the shower clogging and the balcony door didnt bother me but the other things did. Would not stay again nor do i recommend .

I thought this was a great hotel and it was a very big spacious room with a very decent and very clean bathroom. With a stand-up shower and really hot water. It had an ocean view which was pretty amazing because you wake up the waves of the ocean. It’s a little bit after the main road, but it’s right on the beach so you can leave your room and be on the sand within two or three minutes of walking. Oh yeah, the air conditioning was really good and really strong. I checked in around 9 or 10 PM in the middle of a major storm and they had staff that was ready and waiting.

This property is advertised as a “resort” which is not. We arrived by 8 pm and our room was not ready. Internet did not work the first day, and the next day was on and off. Cable channels are very limited. An old and dirty mop was given as feet towel for the shower. The bathroom sink faucet was wobly. The promised “Mountain View”did not happen. We were very disappointed.

The internet and TV didn’t work in our hotel room; that was inconvenient.

very good location and close to everything

My issue with this place was that they allowed day pass users to come into the hotel. With that being said I was sitting on a hammock and a day pass user came and bumped me right off she paid a few bucks. No consideration for the customers that are actually staying on the resort for a few days.. I should have to pay additional to sit on the hammock. The food was greasy the hotel towel are old and stained.

This place is worse than a cheap motel, they do bat have a reception place, no elevator the house keeping is the same cook, and does everything the area is dirty water at swim pool was green, I think some needs to keep updating this pictures, the hotel is scary to stay, I end up loosing $900 because I checked out the same day and they didn’t care,
All I heard was give the key and you can leave 😳😳. I am so disappointed of this place. Please do not reserved this place .

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area. It is as advertised. They didn't give us oir complimentary breakfast as advertised on Expedia. No complimentary breakfast was the only drawback. Otherwise a lovely place.

I’ve stayed here plenty a times, is not a bad options and enjoyable. This time (booking through expedia) they gave me a bit of a fight to cover my breakfast, which has always been included when we’ve stayed before AND IT SAID IT WAS INCLUDED WITH EXPEDIA. After contacting Expedia and speaking with the supervisor they agreed to cover it but warned me that “Expedia reservations do not include breakfast, only through booking or when reserving with them directly”… the supervisor was really great about it, but the front desk lady really did not want to honor it. Food is generally ok they have a nice pool and direct access to the beach. The rooms are comfortable.

A bad decision to go to this place, the recession that there is no such thing, you check into a seedy bar.
The staff's attitude is terrible, the cleaning is horrible, they don't give you towels to dry your hands, only two to bathe in and with hair in the fibers, I booked with Expedia and they offer breakfast included, when I arrive they say because you booked with Expedia there is no breakfast, if you had booked with another company there would be, I think they say the same thing if you book with another company so they don't provide breakfast.

The room was nasty and dirty specially the bathroom . Is not worthy for the price

We were the only non Latins there. The restaurant played loud music all day. It is a resort where the El Salvadorans go for family parties. The rooms were clean and quiet, thank God. The staff was great. It’s hard to rate it because of the cultural differences.

I paid extra for mountain view. I had a room facing parking lot. They did not provide what I paid for. If i wanted to look at the parking lot i would have just paid for a regular room. Thats false advertisement & bate & switch. (Offering one thing & providing something different after you pay. Thats illegal

The conversations from staff and hallway noise is very loud, even when doors are shut closed. There were no staff members up front to check-in, you have to walk back to the pool area to find someone with a notepad to check you in.

Needs upgrade. Bathrooms very stained
