Overall the staff and service was very good. Breakfast was excellent mostly but yea cold and food tepid one morning.
Pros:

The room at the back of the hotel was quiet and peaceful.

Cons:

There was a banister to one side of the stairs. I fell down two or three stairs at the bottom of them onto a hard surface. None of the staff came to help me or really asked how I was.

The Lamlash Bay hotel was like a home from home.
Pros:

Had a lovely time at the Lamlash Bay hotel. I stayed 8 nights, the meals were excellent and served by friendly team members. I was impressed with the speed of the service and all my meals were delivered hot and freshly cooked with fresh vegetables.

Cons:

One niggle only. The plug in room 5 bathroom did not fit properly so water would drain from the basin before you wanted it too eg when shaving.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Arran
Pros:

Staff were very welcoming and friendly yet still totally professional in their duties. We will be returning.

Cons:

We didn’t like the slanting ceiling in our room as one of us is tall and had to stoop quite a bit. We will just ask for a different room on our next trip.

Peaceful stay,location spot on and would definetly stay at this hotel again.

Location fantastic,service fab to,breakfast was excellent and filling,sausage was very meaty decent sausage.

Friendly and efficient staff. Can't beat Arran for a location. Very clean.

Cons:

I was disappointed that the entrance and check-in area feels cramped and gives a poor first impression. There were no leaflets or other help about the local area. Our room had sloping ceilings, and the bed was under the slope so you could not sit up in bed, and there were no easy chairs to sit. The hotel didn't have any areas where you could just sit and relax, only the bar.
