Das Positive ist die Zentrumsnähe. Das Frühstück war allerdings so fürchterlich, dass wir auswärts frühstücken gegangen sind.
Aufpassen muss man bei den Sicherheitseinrichtungen: ausgewiesene Fluchtwege waren VERSCHLOSSEN.

The hotel is in a very sketchy area, however it was right across the street from the Grand Bazaar, which was helpful. There are nicer hotels in the area. We asked for a room to accommodate 4 of us and they gave us 2 rooms, which was good. However, in one of the rooms, the entire balcony door was hanging loose from its hinges with cold air blowing in. We were able to push/fix it closed, and drew the curtain so to block out the air. The same room's shower door was completely missing so we had a puddle of water in the restroom after showering. The other room was really great. The staff was very nice when they greeted us in person but I had tried to email them 5 times to confirm our booking and not one person replied so we were actually worried if we even had a room that day. Additionally, the entire hotel smelled of cigarettes. The breakfast on the 5th floor was pretty good. So as you can see, this review has mixed feelings. I think, next time, I would just find another place.
We caught the metro to the hotel during which, and dispute what we thought we good precautions, we had a wallet stollen with cash and cards. The staff at Salinas spoke very little English - the manager phoned his daughter to translate - but did pretty much everything they could to help including escorting us to the police staton and waiting while we tried to get a report (over an hour) and asking if we needed some cash! They seemed to genuinely take it quite personally that we had had a bad start in İstanbul.
Apart from the staff, the wifi in the room was very fast with no limits on the number of devices. The view from the rooftop breakfast was great. The location of the Hotel was good.
Couldnt ask for a better Hotel. We loved every minute of our stay. Staff was amazing. Room was clean. Big clean restrooms. Location was PERFECT. Price was decent- but we went in peak season..
Would and will recommend to anyone!
