This hotel has CLOSED DOWN. hotels.com did not inform me and they did not respond to my email and request for a phone call and refund.

There is no swimming pool which is a same some people moved to other hotels for that reason

Hotel staff not able to understand basic request in English, like 'I need ice', ' ice cubes'.
Concierge not able to assist or provide information on nearby location or help communicate with local on travel needs.
Many times, i came back and found my room door left ajar with no cleaner inside. No wonder they cited they are not responsible for any lost of valuables.
When I left my passport at the counter for the safekeeping, they merely put it at a drawer, instead of putting it at a safe-deposit box at the reception.
It's a pain to travel from hotel to other beaches or to downtown. The local tuk-tuk or motor-guy simply ripe-off tourists dollars like charging 4-5 USD when it should be like 2 USD. This is after I spoke to expats who stayed at sihaknoville for some times. Staying near downtown could cost 1-2 USD to get around, saves your the transport cost haggling pain.

had room servce once and was not satisfied ... long wait, cold food. Pool bar has limited hours. Hotel staff friendly. Located over a block from the beach, not far. Very few bars, restaurants within easy walking distance.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The staff went out of their way to help you out. however the location for me was a bit of a let down. I am a younger person and was looking for more of the party lifestyle but this hotel isn't located well for that. it cost $5 each way in a tuk tuk to get to serendipity beach.
overall however my stay was pleasant and I will recommend it to anybody wanting a peaceful relaxing stay.

It was the worst hotel I have stayed in for years and will not return even if it is the only hotel NOT RECOMMENDED

Nice hotel but too far out of town

This hotel is secluded away from the main centre of Sihanoukville but this will be better for people who want to avoid busy town centres. As we visited in low season, it was extremely empty. Despite this, the pool is very enjoyable and the service, sometimes slow from staff who do not speak English, is ok. The massage place within the hotel is extremely cheap and handy and the gym, although basic, offers a sauna to relax further. Breakfast buffet was not working as too few residents. Within short walking distance to the beach. Good value for money.

It is a quite nice hotel but it is too far from everything, you have to walk to the beach and there is nothing around, I think it is over priced for the area where it is located. Maybe the Hotel should provide a lot more for guests. I must say the staff was very nice, I really like the hotel, the service is very good, I can't complain about it. I just didn't like the location

Poor location. Ants all over breakfast table. breakfast cold not nice. I would not recommend this hotel to any one we stayed 1 night then found another hotel at serendipity beach

very happy staying here and decided to stay 4 more days. Excellent value, the best I've seen in Cambodia. This place in Sihanoukville and the Lin Ratanak in Siem Reap. 2 outstanding values.

We had the top-floor room with terrace and a grand ocean view. That was very nice, especially the sunset, and we recommend it. The bed was rock-hard, our only complaint. We found a nice beach restaurant close by. All in all very quiet and nice hotel with sweet and helpful staff.

Nice for Cambodia standards, good value

Great value for a luxury hotel, Victory beach is the nicest part of Sihanoukville, just such a stunning hotel and experience. Staff speak English extremely well and are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

A top notch hotel. Hotel is conveniently located about a 2-3 min. walk from the beach. This particular beach isn't as crowded as other beaches, but still has plenty to do during the daylight hours.

for evening activities, not much going on in the local area. Had to go into town for other activities.

Top quality hotel and the price was right!

The only negative thing about this hotel was its location. It is not located near any beach, despite the name "Victory Beach". But the main beach areas are a short tuk tuk ride away, so this was not really a big problem. The hotel in itself is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are great, and the restaurant food and complimentary breakfast was really good. We were very happy with our stay here, and this hotel does not deserve any negative feedback it might have gotten in the past.

When the waiter came to our room unexpectedly, he rang the bell once, and before we could open the door, he had it opened!! Then he stepped in the room, without being invited! All he wanted was the room service menu! We were horrified that he would infringe on our privacy: the sign "Do not disturb" was switched on too!

Only two comments:
1. Why wasn't there a full time room service menu in the room anyway, so that there is no requirement to send and take it back when one needs to order in??

2. Why was this young man taught not to open rooms that do not wish to be disturbed? It is also good manners to remain outside until invited in too!!

Few minutes walk from the hotel to Victory Beach, a really quiet place to stay if you want a piece of peaceful land for your staying. The hotel is clean and nice, it is a little bit far-away to go to those major beaches in the town (but as I said if you need a place where is quiet for your trip, then there you go). The staffs were pretty nice with friendly smiles always. Overally it was a good stay and the only thing I didn't like which was the massage service.

Well, the reason why I picked this hotel was the good review, but after my stay, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. The pool is green in color = lime. The high speed internet was never high speed, I had to go to the lobby to go online. The beds were hard and finally laundry services ruined one of my shirts, and they expected me to pay for it too. Hotel is not close to the night life area, and is not close to the beach either. A well earned 1.0 in my books.
