Hai Au Boutique Hotel & Spa

Lovely staff, amazing Pho and fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning. We enjoyed the pool and how close this hotel was to everything. Our room was a little smelly from the bathroom, so hoping this gets worked out because everything else was wonderful about our stay.

Staff friendly and exceptionally efficient, hotel clean and comfortable, breakfast tasty and great value, transfer from da nang airport efficient and value. A well run establishment. If ever in Hoi an again would definitely use. ......

Nice place and great staff. Cool pool and good breakfast. We really enjoye it. It has a great location close to the ancient town, w/ Big rooms, tall ceilings and colonial architecture. Why does TA make me keep typing? I dont always want to make a long review.

We didn't have a good stay here , rooms very not sound proof so you could hear noise from next buildings and other guests. The only good thing about hotel is it's location and breakfast .

This hotel is very nice. I stayed here with my friend, and we loved it. The location is perfect, surrounded by small cafes and walking distance to the old town. You can rent a bike if you want, and the staff will help you. The staff is so nice, sweet and helpful especially the women named Helen. We felt very safe here, we even extended our stay with 2 more nights

overall is good . not too expensive.

Great hotel but most buildings in Hoi Ann affected by rising dampness.

Had a lovely week in Hoi An. Helen and Hai were both very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them to arrange tours for us or book tickets to shows. Or make recommendations of where to eat. I will probably be back as Hoi An has more to offer. The room was spacious and clean. Beds are firm but I like that. We had very prompt service to fix the air conditioning when not working.

A small and nice hotel, room was spacious, balcony too small and not usable though. Washroom was small and neat. We had booked for one night before our long stay at Karma Song Hoi as we had landed a day early.
Ms. Helen checked us in and was helpful throughout. The other guy at the reception also was helpful in booking taxi and guiding us. Main drawback is the restarurant. Only breakfast is provided containing only bread, butter, cakes and fruits.
There are other restarurants nearby, many infact.
Hotel has a small swimming pool, didnt find any guests.
Hotel provides cycles and scooters for a charge.

Well located near the old town, the rooms are basic but clean and well serviced. Helen at the front desk was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. The value for money is outstanding. The hotel has a pool and they provide a basic cooked breakfast. Highly recommended particularly if you’re on a budget.

The host Helen who runs the front desk and takes care of things is awesome - super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and always a smile.

Nice location pretty close to downtown and easy connection to the beach. Pool is private, decent sized and like every other pool in Vietnam at this time it is warm water. Our room faced the street but was still quiet with good windows.

For a hotel in this price range, it’s excellent. The room could use some updating and a good clean, but it’s large and the beds are comfortable and the staff gives you fresh towels etc every day. There’s a pool and the location can’t be beat. And the staff is so, so nice. Helen brought me soup when I was sick, arranged taxi rides and laundry—she’s a gem.

It has been an excellent and pleasant stay in Hai Au Boutique hotel from 23rd to 26th December 2022.
The rooms are really big, clean and very well maintained. A small balcony is there in the room which I felt was a relaxed place in the room.
Helen, the receptionist helped me a lot in facilitating the needs during the stay. She had helped me to get the Tour trip to Bana Hills after contacting a tourist agent.
Even one another receptionist lady helped me to get the cycle/bike which i used for 3 days to roam in around the beautiful Hoi An ancient town.
Another receptionist provided the contact and way to reach Basket Coconut forest Boat ride.
The way in which all the staff in the Hai Au hotel were so good in their behaviour.
The location is also a big positive factor in choosing the Hai Au hotel..

The title hits the mark, Nice property, Large rooms, Convenient location. Rooms are large, central air conditioning, central hot water, nice staff (especially Ms Helen who was very helpful). Located on the edge of the ancient city and central market so it is quiet, yet just a short walk to visit all the sites, shops and restaurants.

We had now visit Hai Au Hotel many times, but this time, there was nearly no guest at the hotel.
Before Covid-19 hotel had a great breakfast buffet, but this time there was coffee/Tea made from powder including sugar and not really hot. Egg or omelet made hot, 2 baguettes without butter and jam. Hot lemonade? and cold yogurt if you asked for it the day before.
You also need to set a time for your breakfast? We had vacation, and will not wake up by a clock.

Before the hotel had a really good cleaning,but this time it only took 3 minutes to clean room, including empty the toilet paper bucket, there for some reason not have a plastic bag inside? No cleaning of floor, toilet sink and bathtub. The beds were not made only the duvet covers were folded and smoothed.
Hotel need to take Covid 19 seriously and made a better cleaning.

This was the worse cleaning we had had in our long vacation in Thailand and Vietnam.

Hotel had also a note hanging stating that the Hotel Taxi are cheaper than Grab or other taxi transporting you to Airport/railway station, but this are NOT true. Just ask in town for a price, and you will earn some US$.

Not sure we will go back once again.

We had a fantastic stay at Hai Au Boutique Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. It has a family feel, is very clean and safe. The rooms were spacious and airy. It is walking distance to the ancient town, 5 kms to the beach and has a great cafe across the road. We will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommend you talk to Ruby and her staff.

Firstly, Ruby at reception, is a gem, with great English and communication skills. The other staff are friendly and helpful. The building is a lovely, rambling, large, typical Vietnamese building and with updates could be fabulous. The bathroom in our room, for example, had no hot water, the pushdown plugs in both bath and basin did not work. Overall, the building was grimy and the outdoor pool definitely needed cleaning. This is a typical colonial, shuttered building and could be beautiful with some work. Our grateful thanks to the staff and Ruby.
