The location was fantastic, close to everything: the metro, the tourist bus stop, and near important tourist attractions.

Promised Executive Upgrade Downgraded to Deluxe - Terrible Night Staff Attitude
Pros:

We Booked 3 nights. Guest Manager emailed beforehand confirming upgrade to Executive King. Arrived 11PM, given Room 511 which is a tiny 26m² Deluxe room, not the 36m² Executive room promised. Front desk refused to solve the problem, said he would only "report it", and rudely accused me of "shouting" when I was just discussing options in Chinese mixed English with my husband. Night manager then audaciously asked us to waste our sightseeing time for a 9AM meeting to "discuss".

Total bait-and-switch.

Avoid this hotel if you expect luxury service.

Amazing stay

Love here! The service, the rooms, the food, and the distance to important places was perfect! John, from The Hedgerow, is the best bartender and all his drinks were absolutely amazing! Thanks John we definitely will come back!

Superb afternoon tea experience with excellent service
Pros:

I booked afternoon tea (Infinitea) in the Blossom Room this for two birthdays (my boyfriend and his daughter who share a birthday) and it was absolutely perfect for both. The unlimited champagne was a real treat for my boyfriend, as well as the excellent sandwich selection, and the calm and comfortable atmosphere as well as the sweet treats were perfect for his daughter. More than anything I want to say a HUGE thank you to the team and particularly Alson and Franscesca who were exceptionally kind and professional and clearly top of their game. We really appreciated the flexibility (Im veggie, my boyfriend's daughter doesn't eat beef) and the infinitea concept just takes the stress out as we all knew we'd be able to enjoy our favourite bits! We would 100% recommend

Five Star Plus Experience at the Conrad St. James
Pros:

This was our first and best decision when planning a first trip to London. The Conrad St. James was recommended by our travel agent and it exceeded all expectations. We chose a room that included access to the Executive Lounge and this amenity made our stay five star plus! We had an early flight, arriving at the hotel at 9:30am which was well before the check in time. However, we had access to the Executive Lounge which included private showers and bathrooms, complimentary breakfast and all day snacks and drinks. We had a King Executive Room and it was spacious, spotless and daily housekeeping was exceptional. The front desk staff were consistently warm and welcoming and the Concierge team and front entrance personnel were very helpful with taxis and directions. The Executive Lounge daily breakfast included a wide range of hot and cold items and provided a great start to each day. We also enjoyed the lounge for happy hour including drinks and appetizers. Thank you Conrad St. James!

Superior Service at The Conrad London St. James
Pros:

Our stay at the Conrad St. James was absolutely magnificent. The staff was thoughtful and extremely helpful. The outside attendants actually ran across the street to help us with our luggage and offer us beverages as we emerged from the tube station. In addition, there was the most charming, welcoming, wait staff member, Casey, who greeted us every morning at breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. She would sincerely ask about our plans for the day and what she could do to make our breakfast memorable. Her infectious smile and kind nature did not begin and end with us. As I watched her service the room, she made sure to stop at each and every table to make each patron feel happy and cared for. She is quite remarkable!

If you choose to stay at the Conrad St. James, be sure to look for Casey at breakfast service!
