Pros:

Dinner was lovely, and great views

Cons:

Reception door was broken and no one was staffing the front desk as arrived or left - gives a very unwelcoming first impression. Staff, when did they did appear, continued the unwelcoming style.

Stayed before a few times but this time was not worth upgrading to a 'Better' room....delapidated
Pros:

Room was tired and had many issues. I sent an email direct but got a generic sorry message. We stayed for my partners Birthday and the room was supposed to be one of the best available on the website. In reality it was in poor condition and not worth the extra i paid.

Cons:

Air con didnt work, small oil filled heater in the room ! door to balcony rattled ALL night, metal beading between carpets potruding making
It dangerous to walk on.wall poorly repaired and hidden wirh paint, sky tv??.... no just a FEW free to air channels... Curtains frayed! Bathroom with water damaged shelves. Looked more 2 star overall...

I would book again as its nonexpensive and you get a nice view with breakfast, but its a tired hotel
Pros:

Breakfast was nice, with a decent selection. Location was also handy, being in the centre of birmingham. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel itself seemed tired. The aircon wasnt working, the replacemnet fans wouldnt stand up on their own. Th tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The front doors were not working

I would strongly not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Convenient location, practically in the city centre and close to the canal

Cons:

There was a terrible smell in the entrance lobby — some overpowering artificial fragrance that literally made my eyes water. The room had clearly been cleaned months ago: every surface was covered in dust. In the bathroom, the sink plug was completely rusted stuck, and it took me about half an hour to remove it so the water could drain. The windows could not be opened due to the building design, and the ventilation system was so loud that I woke up every morning with a headache. Housekeeping was very superficial. At breakfast, all the dishes and cutlery were dirty and covered in streaks.

Great location, amazing bar up top, lovely breakfast

Cons:

Air con was broke… music from the function room above was crazy loud until 1am then the staff were arranging tables and chairs for a further 30 mins. Was promised a 10% refund when speaking to the staff, but was never sent.

Would recommend for sure
Pros:

Location, the layout , the room size
The customer service on the emails

Cons:

The tv could be better such as access to YouTube and Netflix
Also AC wasn’t working
Fridge as very small and maybe have a bath tub

The Cube
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had amazing views and lots of space. The complimentary mini bar was a great addition after a long day.
There was zero noise from anyone or anything.

Cons:

The price of the breakfast was a little off putting so we chose to eat at a nearby café.

Very Disappointing
Cons:

The hotel had broken air con on one of the hottest day of the year, the room was like a sauna, with a fan that just blew hot air around the room!
