Excellent value for money with great staff in a great location between Btistol and Cardiff
Pros:

Staff were excellent on front desk and maids.

You get what you paid for in a value foe money hotel and I woukd recommend for a short stay

Cons:

Maybe needs a refresh but other than thag nothing more

Overall, great value for money and ideal for a practical overnight stay.
Pros:

Stayed here for one night while travelling and, for the price, it really did exactly what I needed.

The standout was the service on arrival – the reception team were genuinely warm and welcoming, and even took the time to ask whether I’d prefer an upstairs or downstairs room to help ensure a quiet night’s sleep. That small touch made a big difference.

The room itself was a little tired and could probably do with a refresh, but for the price point it was clean, functional, and perfectly adequate. If you’re looking for somewhere luxurious this isn’t it, but if you need a convenient, no-fuss stopover it absolutely delivers.

A no frills hotel in a convenient location
Pros:

It’s very basic but for the amount you pay, it’s clean, tidy, and is a comfortable bed for the night. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very easy to find and parking was good because of it being at the motorway services

Cons:

Because of the location you can hear the motorway traffic.
The doors open with keys, rather than fobs or cards, this means people are slamming the doors at all hours.
There’s no plug sockets near the bed, so anything being charged is across the room. Also no USB charge points, so you need a suitable plug

Cheap and convenient. Hard pillows made for an uncomfortable night.
Pros:

It was cheap, cheerful and convenient. Heating worked and hot water was HOT with good pressure in the shower.

Cons:

The pillows were rock hard and as a result it was very difficult to be comfortable so didnt sleep well at all. Noise from outside (we were on ground floor) was noticeable but could have been a lot worse (it is a motorway services so I didn’t expect total quiet tbh).

Acceptable.
Pros:

The shower head was lose. A bit of a surprise. There was a Kit Kat wrapper behind the tv.
The room was noisy from outside but for the money, worth not crashing due to tiredness.

Cons:

Maybe the staff should check the room.

Stay here often. Never an issue this last stay was disappointing, room cleanliness was questionable, old socks under desk and room needed a vacuum.
Yes a bit dated but thats fine I will use again but will mention issues to staff as left early and staff wasn't available and I needed to get on my way
