Comfortable stay with minor issues
Pros:

Room was spacious and comfortable (if a bit worn), and property is in a great location, just a few minute walk from markets and several nice beachside restaurants. However, the charge for ice and having to pay a 50% search charge for same day laundry service is inconsistent with a four star hotel. In addition, the Wi-Fi was erratic and slow and certain websites would not even load.

We had major problems with room security as the cards kept jamming and had to keep going to reception every time to reactivate it sometimes multiple times in the day ! old door security system

My overall stay was ok, average at best.

There were 2 or 3 people working the front desk who thought it’d be funny to target me and abuse me on my first 3 days of staying there until I blew up on them then it stopped then things were ok.

What did they do you might wonder? They kept resetting the key to my room whereby I had to go up and down the hotel multiple times per day everyday the first few days to have them set it straight again because it would magically “not work” and I was being told their system is old and needed an upgrade and it was a hotel wide issue.

After doing some talking to other staff members and guests I found out that I was the only one having the issue and realized I was being targeted and that’s when I snapped and lost it at the front desk staff. After that my card magically kept working fine and had no issues.

They didn’t offer me anything for the troubles they caused me nor did they acknowledge any wrong doing. If other staff members weren’t nice and polite then I wouldn’t even want to give them one star at all.

The property is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, maybe when it was brand new but it is definitely dated and I would rate it a 2 star hotel at best. Cheers!

Pros:

The hotel is a fair walking distance from most of the main attractions, which might be inconvenient for some. The facilities and decor feel quite outdated and would definitely benefit from a modern uplift. That said, it served its purpose for a short stay, nothing special, but it did the job. I’d rate it as average overall.

We're requesting your approval to cancel the booking with no fees for our customer for 2 night/s because the customer due to the pool being unsuitable for his children, as the pool is very deep and is not suitable for small children only for adults and it was a big aspect of their vacation

Lovely hotel, rooftop pool is amazing and they have a bar on roof too.
Breakfasts are fabulous with a range to suit e everyone.
Location is ideal - 5 mins from beach and 20 min walk along front to Marbella main town… lots of bars cafes shops along the way.
Will definitely return again 😎
