Authentic experience to stay in Mansion of history and atmosphere.
Pros:

I enjoyed feeling like I’d been immersed in Malaysian history. The features and history of the Mansion were spectacular.
Impeccably clean and comfortable.
I would definitely recommended this man

Cons:

The staff as a whole were fantastic. The check in staff slightly less friendly.

Beautiful Building .. Do the tour, rather than stay
Pros:

Lovely location, interesting beautiful building.
Very friendly security staff

Cons:

If you are staying on the ground floor , the noise from above is very loud. We had people coming in at 2 am, stomping around, we asked to move, but had to pay
The breakfast is average at best -
The swimming pool is very small and only three loungers

A boutique gem and one of the best in Asia.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast cooked to order, the style of this hotel is very cool. Fantastic big room and great public spaces- really good value for money, The historical element is balanced by all modern facilities - the vibe is excellent

Pros:

Old world style and history. The room was enormous with French doors opening onto the pool garden. The lounge area, open to the sky, was super relaxing particularly in that time before and after an evening meal, with a cocktail or coffee in hand.
A bit more on the expensive side, the Indigo restaurant was a treat.

Cons:

More comfortable loungers around the pool would have been great.

Pros:

Lovely, well maintained mansion. A real throwback in time. Highly recommend Cafe Mangga on the property itself.

Cons:

The staff were not helpful, seemed overwhelmed by the tours and guests checking in/out and sometimes just rude. The location was not central.

Historic Mansion and a very comfortable stay
Pros:

A very beautiful historic mansion, well worth experiencing. The rooms, bed, linens, attention to detail etc was exceptional. I loved the breakfast in the central courtyard. The little pool in the garden was an added bonus. And the restaurant was lovely, too. A strong recommendation to stay.

Cons:

Check in was a little precarious. I think a separate area of room for guests to check in would be good. The problem is there are tour groups surging through the house, so privacy is compromised, and it can be noisy.
