Einmalig!
Pros:

Die Blue Mansion ist wirklich beeindruckend! Das Hotel ist bezaubernd, man fühlt sich einfach wohl.
Frühstück im Innenhof hervorragend.
Der Pool ist auch toll um nach einem langen Tag in den Strassen Georgs Town noch kurz zur Ruhe zu kommen.
Lage ist hervorragend - fussläufig alles erreichbar.

Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Cons:

Es ist ringhörig - aber das ist ganz normal bei einem so historischen Gebäude. Das Hotel stellt Oropax zur Verfügung. Wer aber empfindlich ist, der wird es schwer haben. Der Red Garden nebenan spielt bis in die späten Stunden sehr laute Musik.

A beautiful and historic gem in old Penang!
Pros:

It’s an amazingly historic and grand building, so unique and detailed and in a great location only a short walk into the famous old Penang streets. The rooms are huge and comfortable and the pool is a real bonus on hot days. Be aware that there are large tours in the public areas of the property twice a day but there are other private areas only for residents. The Indigo restaurant was expensive but very high quality, in a lovely historic dining room. It’s a fascinating place to stay and we loved it. The staff were great!

Cons:

It can be noisy until late from the busy nearby food court with music most nights. The informal Cafe Mangga was a little disappointing, food choice could perhaps be better, but it was a nice courtyard with live music most evenings.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié son authenticité ainsi que sa décoration très raffinée. L'emplacemenent est correct. Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de buffet zn partie et le reste par carte. Les plats proposés sont succulents. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable.

Cons:

La piscine est bruyante liée à son emplacement le long d'une route passagère et il y a très peu de transats mais également rarement des baigneurs. La température de l'eau est excellente.

Begrudged having to trudge around in 32 degrees to find food when should have been able to eat in on site cafe. Saving g

The pool and the staff were it’s saving grace

Cons:

Day visitors to the property ignored barriers meant to prevent them from accessing guest rooms and this happened multiple times each day. Cafe was booked out mainly by non residents for every night of our stay. Menu was reduced by two thirds anyway as chef was away. Only alternative was a set meal costing £100 approx per person in fine dining restaurant which wasn’t to our taste. Eating facilities for residents should be prioritised as three mails were sent to us before check in advertising these facilities which we could not access. When we complained we were met with an ignorant and rude response from staff member we complained to. Coffee machine in room but no pods and no instant coffee for kettle which you had to put on floor to reach plug. Water was scalding hot and I do mean scalding.

Pros:

Lovely place and I felt pampered. Turn down service, huge plush towels, excellent breakfast and wonderful staff.
Our room was dark and quiet, actually overslept!!!

Cons:

The tours were a little annoying but it’s because the mansion is so cool so understandable.
