Pros:

Gorgeous and unique heritage building. Capable and helpful staff. Breakfast menu superb.

Cons:

Pretty noisy at night. On a main thoroughfare. Also live music every night till 11.30pm.
Earplugs were supplied,.
The hotel hosts guided and self guided tours for the public everyday from 11am till 5.30pm. This means there are 100s of people coming through every day, which does impact on the hotel guests.

Stupendous. Would be back in a heartbeat!

It was a privilege staying at such a lovely hotel. The staff was so super attentive, special thanks to Jalal who looked after us as breakfast!

Nothing!
Although I was itching to give some of the beautiful Blackwood chairs a bit of a shine!

A very impressive piece of history first, a hotel second.
Pros:

The Blue Mansion is very impressive building, the rooms are very interesting and the staff are incredibly helpful, going above and beyond.

Cons:

I would say this is a historic monument and a place to tour first, and a hotel second. If you want to stay in impressive, large rooms with a sense of history this is your place and that is part of the cost. If you want to prioritise facilities / comfort / food I would say there are better options for similar price.

Breathtakingly beautiful hotel
Pros:

The aesthetics of the hotel are superb

Cons:

The information re the items available for the buffet breakfast was insufficient.

We were not informed that ground coffees were available in addition to local coffees for example.

I think that guests should be allowed to choose at least 2 of the items from the menu instead of just the one item as is presently the case.

Great location, very nice building, friendly personal, music concert in the courtyard, staying in a museum.

Cons:

Maybe it there’s one thing to complain, it’s the noise from outside. But that is to be expected from an old building in the center of town.
