I’ll be steering clear of this chain in the future.
Pros:

The staff tried really hard to accommodate our inquiries, when language barriers caused minor difficulties.

Cons:

The beds at each of the Route Inn locations we stayed at have dreadful beds - seems as though there’s a base but no mattress, they are so uncomfortable. So much so that we cancelled the last booking and went elsewhere. Disappointing, as we liked everything else about these hotels…….. well, except for the Japanese pillows, which are in hotels across the country!!!😁
