Quite a good location due to it being in District 1 and an easy walk to many of the local attractions.
Firstly, desk staff were quite abrupt from the moment of arrival. No “hello” or any greeting, but instead “passports”.
Secondly, though we had already prepaid for the first night for two rooms, we were made to go walking for an hour on a hot day to change money to pay in full for both rooms before we could even leave our bags in our room after arriving slightly tired from our flight. The staff could see how exhausted some people were and even though I offered to go and change the money myself, they wouldn’t allow the others access to their rooms. Not acceptable for some older people in my group and I think a terrible attitude to have.
In following days I also heard reception staff actually berate other guests because the hotel wanted them to pay some accrued expenses such as happy hour balances, rather than wait for the checkout date. I heard the guests ask why this was being asked, given they had fully paid for their rooms and that the hotel had copies of their passports, and the hotel staff just said “it’s policy”. Again, not acceptable in my mind.
We found many of the other staff quite unfriendly and unwelcoming, including most of the staff at breakfast, and many room service staff. We got the feeling they are not happy and that it probably comes from the top.
However the most disappointing thing about this hotel is the breakfasts in the morning. Apart from eggs and chicken pho and fresh fruit, most of the rest of the food appeared to be leftovers and very unappetising looking.
I’m not someone who expects hotel breakfasts to be top notch, and I can often try most things on display, however at this hotel there was hardly much that even I could bring myself to try, and many of the serving dishes of the normal non-leftover foods were empty and wouldn’t be refilled until someone pointed it out.
Added to this, the coffee options served at breakfast were always TERRIBLE. I’ve drank coffee all over Vietnam and love to try the many varieties on offer.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.

We were a day late arriving due to flight cancelled ex Dublin. I sent two emails explaining this. When we arrived we were told that our room was gone but a more expensive room was available ! The " Hotel is Full " I explained to reception that we had notified them but they were not moving. We booked and paid into the dearer room. We had dinner & breakfast on our own in the Hotel restaurant that night & following morning. If the Hotel was full I would love to know where everyone was.
We felt we were being taken for a ride & I have subsequently told friends, family and acquaintance not to use the Paradise Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Walking distance to everything!

The location is very close to the center, you can reach easily.
Location
Room was dirty, air con uncontrollable
Glasses in bathroom were not changed during our stay, needed these to rinse when we brushed our teeth
Excellent service and a prime location
The location is very good. The room had windows. The AC was working and pretty quiet.
The room was dirty, you can see the shower hasn’t been properly cleaned. There was a window in the room, but it had been cracked, held together with duck tape. The windows were so dirty. Very loud. Very poor communication with the staff prior to coming to the hotel.
Die Lage des Hotel war super. Sehr Zentral gelegen.
