White Lodge

Comfortable lodge with pool, short walk to main town area for shops and food, also short walk to beach. Front desk staff were helpful and polite.

Ok hotel with a great location. Bed was not so good. Clean and nice pool area and friendly staff. Shower with low water pressure. Quite bad wifi connection especially during evenings.

It was a nice place and a good location. Very green area with palms and monkeys.

Ich hatte Bungalow Nr.2.Bequemes Bett,Kühlschrank,Wasserkocher und Klima.Schnell am Pool,der leider nur bis 19 Uhr geöffnet hat.Man ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuss im Zentrum.Ein guter Nachtmarkt mit gutem Streetfood ist in der Nähe.

We had a comfortable stay. Rooms were serviced every day with new bottled water, towels,more toilet paper, emptied rubbish bin and our beds were made. Our bathroom light went out and it was fixed promptly.
When having a shower our whole bathroom floor gets wet but it soon dries out.
White lodge is close to the tourist strip but still quiet.
Hornbills were seen on the White Lodge sign and Dusky Leaf Monkeys were seen passing through in the big trees behind the lodge.
We got our scooters from Runnervape shop. As you go out to the main road turn left and they are at the end of the road (an easy walk). They were in good working order after the closest scooters to the lodge we tried on our first day.

Great pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good rooms.

Man får vad man betalar för. Rummen skitiga och slitna. Viss personal rätt otrevlig. Blev ifrågasatt vad det var för fläckar på poolhanddukarna (som är slitna och ofräscha från början) när jag lämnade in dem för att få nya.
Enda som var bra är poolen som är fin och barnvänlig, väldigt lugn miljö.
Okej område, en bit att gå till stranden. Vägen in till hotellet väldigt ofräsch, konstigt att de inte plockar upp skräp utanför.

It's quite good but Wi-Fi is not good. The room is nice. The pool is good but it looks smaller than the photo. Convenient location. No restaurant though.

Hôtel simple , au calme proche de la plage, des commerces et restaurants. Accueil chaleureux, personnel souriant et sympathique. Chambre et piscine propres.

This is our third stay here and have accepted that "you get what you pay for" but this time the bathroom is unacceptable. It's downright disgusting! Though the grounds are charming and the location is good,we are very disappointed with the bathroom. We love Langkawi and so we will be back but to this place... Not so sure!

Pas de petit déjeuner. Pas de drap pour le lit d appoint. Hôtel en état moyen, nos chambre sentait le renfermé, la salle de bain est très rudimentaire.

The first impression: I was deceived by my booking site. The hotel is not on the beach. It is not on the same side of the street as the beach. It is not across the street. It's back a ways. However, the atmosphere of the hotel grounds is quite relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for.

The room. Lighting is minimal, a/c doesn't come on until the card is inserted and it wasn't exactly inviting. Yet the bed was decent. The room had space. While the shower was not enclosed, the water did drain and the tiles on the floor dried quickly so there was no slipping a half an hour later.

The site says daily housekeeping. Not for me. Every other day. Sheets were never changed (I could still see the dark spot and the two white paint spots), but they did sweep and tidy up on those days.

The pool is nice. It has a relaxing atmosphere. If you're lucky, you, too, may end up with fresh coconut water by the pool. (right time, right place issue)

Anyone who worked there while I was there was fabulous, incredibly helpful and friendly. Also, if you tour in the ocean on your check-out day and leave your luggage in the office, when you return they have a shower off the office you can use to clean off and change. Very nice to clean up!

4 of us stay for 6 days at 2 queen-size room. It spacious enough to swallow 4 cabin size and 1 big size luggage and with a space to spare for light stretching. A balcony for 2 to enjoy hot coffee. Those are the only good things I could remember about the hotel.
The location is perfect. Walking distance to eateries, duty-free shops, mall, and beach. For delicious local foods at local prices, 10 minutes walk toward Asiana Hotel, turn to the left, and just after the traffic light. Ask for "Peknga" with fish "Gulai Panas"
The things I don't like about this hotel are the supply of tea kits, bottled water, and toiletry which happen every alternate day, stained toilet bowl, low-pressure shower and noisy a/c. I have asked a friendly staff to get a daily supply of bottled water to the room during our long stay but nothing she could do as it is the hotel policy. The hotel offers a water dispenser at the lobby and lucky for us that it is located just across the room. Pity for those who stay away from the lobby, hope there are other water dispensers located nearby too. Lack of hospitality here. I'm fine with the sustainability initiative but in the hotel business, hospitality demands attention too.
Would not recommend this hotel to family and business traveler alike. There are plenty of new vibrant facilities to choose nearby. For the savvy traveler who needs a comfy bed to crash at night, perhaps this a good alternative.
Overall, I found this hotel is overrated.

Die Lage ist echt super.
Man hat auch alles in der Nähe was man brauch.
Pool ist vorhanden.
Strand ist auch nur 5 min entfernt zu Fuß.

Very hospitality front desk, love to answer your question and help. Location is very close to the main street of Cenang beach, and underwater world, you can find food, convenience store, everywhere. Currency exchange is not far away too.

It has nice environment

部屋設備にバスアメニティーと書いてあったためシャンプー、リンス、ボディーソープが揃っているのかと思いきや60mlほどの小さいボトルのシャンプーとEssence(？)だけでした。
2人で2泊したのに60mlだけ(2泊目のルームメイク後も補充されず)は少ないと思いました。
また、2泊目の夜 突然電気がつかなくなり原因はよくわかりませんでした。
ロッヂ全体の雰囲気の良さと素敵な庭のプール、立地の良さはすごく気に入りました。

1)the location on the map that provided in trivago was wrong, when I'm there I realized some other hotel or chalet also not in the right location as the map shown us... I'm was looking for a chalet that close enough to the beach, information from trivago is 100m , but in the end is 500m.
That location in the map really need to improve.

2) the room are full of sand, i need to mop the floor twice by myself

Good. Near to pantai tengah.
