Die Minibar funktionierte nicht; Nach Reklamation antwortete die Mitarbeiterin mit der Behauptung dies sei normal, die Minibar sei kein Kühlschrank !
Etwas lärmig aufgrund des regen Tramverkehrs.

The location was perfect for the rail station and walkable to the old town Basel.and the Rhine river.
The room and bathroom were a good size and staff extremely good.
It has a restsurant,bar and outside terrace for drinks from the bar. Two minutes walk from room to the tram stops.

Cons:

I thought the bar and restsurant area was very dark and drab

Pros:

Comodissimo se si arriva in treno, basta attraversare la strada, inoltre fermata dei tram a pochissimi passi con il quale si raggiungono tutti i punti d’interesse della città e cosa veramente super, al momento del check in viene fornita la Basel Card per usufruire dei mezzi pubblici in modo gratuito e con una scontistica molto interessante su musei ecc ecc.
Pulito e per una volta abbiamo trovato la possibilità di gestire l’aria condizionata!
Buona la colazione ☺️.

Dalle camere che danno sulla stazione, si sente abbastanza il passaggio dei tram.

Pros:

Location is very central, a slight sound of the trams moving through Bahnhofplatz, rooms very comfortable and bathrooms clean and efficient. Restaurant serves a good range of delicious meals.

Cons:

all was very good for my stay, I always chose Hotel Victoria when in Basel, I have tried others but they do not have the same comfortable and welcoming feel. Staff make a;ll the difference, I always see a smiling face at reception and around the hotel.
