Hotel Bahagia

My friends and I, 7 of us took the biggest room with 6 beds. Our check in was delayed to 430pm which was fine for us to check out the beach first. There are cheap restaurants around the hotels. It can be dark and quiet on the roads at night so be careful. The rooms was Big, Toilet is budget. The rooms are not sound proof so if we made noise our neighbors can hear us. This hotel is a decent budget place. The breakfast is meh.

Below review is only for the Sales Manager of Hotel, not for the staff.

I was on a vacation at Langkawi and staying in Hotel Bahagia. I purchased a package at MATTA fair to spent sometime in Langakawi . The decision to stay in hotel Bahagia was a big mistake. The person who calls himself as a Sales Manager, does't have any etiquette to how to behave with their customers. He is very rude and unfriendly. I had sent him my itinerary prior to my travel, wherein my check in and check out dates with flight details were clearly mentioned. On the day of check out our flight was at 22:20 hrs, however, this guy was forcing us to leave for the airport around 18:00, where as it was agreed with the staff of the hotel to drop us at airport around 20:30 hrs. When we were trying to explain him what was discussed and agreed with staff, he was in no mood to listen and started shouting on us and ask us to go self if we want to reach airport on agreed time.

Overall ok. No iron in the room. Very inconvenient to iron outside as its hot and no privacy. Could improve on the food served for breakfast.

First impression totally threw us off. It looked like we were checking in a prostitution dent. Staff were uneducated and do not know English at all. Upon check-in, I was only given a single key for the room power supply. The funny thing was, I booked a triple deluxe room. How on earth do you expect 3 guys to share one key that has to be in the power supply? The receptionist simply answered ‘The reception is open 24/7 and we will assist you’. Do you actually think I have no other work but to come down every time the door is locked? She had a very stupid look on her face.

The hallway to the rooms were terrible. It felt like a prostitution dent. Rooms were worse. So dirty and the toilet sink was clogged up. Shower wasn’t working and so much rust in the bathroom which is a hazard.

Breakfast was disgusting. It was as if they were giving us for free and it tasted like dog food. Horrible experience! We shorten our 4 nights stay and moved to another hotel the very next day. The receptionist simply threw our deposit on the desk.

DONT EVEN THINK OF STAYING HERE!

This is nothing but the worst experience of my life.
We checked in the hotel just to find a room that doesn't even have place to move around.
Looks like a 1000 year home converted to a hotel room, suffocating experience.
To top it all the staff at reception is just the worst, you can not possibly communicate with them in English and then they are rude.
We checked in at 10 in morning and breakfast was laid and asked if we could have it as I was starving and have BP issues,dint Wana eat anywhere out.
The staff just refused, unimaginable.
Then we went the next day for breakfast just to realize that food is just pathetic with no taste at all and is so crowded that we had to wait a long for them to replenish the food.
Everything was bad about this place infact horrible.
Not recommended.

Didn't stay in the hotel, only visited the cafe. Friendly and smiley staff. Serves malay and thai food. Ordered their set meal: rice, stir-fry mixed veg, malay style chicken soup, fried chicken, a soft drink/juice. Decent meal.

The room was just average

1st of all.. Toilet stucked with tissue, 1st appearence failed for us. Secondly, water heater not working properly. the room was very dirty and didnt cleaned up.

And now the interesting part, we went for out bfast on 23rd Dec below.the hotel, and the waitress charged for our child Rm 5, and her answer was "we charge according to size of the child, not age". Very dissapointing answer which a hotelier shouldnt give. Shame on you Hotel Bahagia Management!!!

The hotel should provide iron for guest . There is a long queue cos only one iron is place at the corridor.

Great price when you buy it online, most recommend hotel for cheap price. Hotel was OK laaaa not bad with free breakfast 😊😊😊 , the room OK, the staff was OK , everything ok , the food for breakfast need to be upgrade!

My first stay expirence is good and it near to night market and near to by chocolate place. It was a good place to relax and have a nice room, but the hotel staff are not friendly at all they don help when you needed a helping for wifi or someting you need to know? That is not good for a nice hotel. So all is ok

I book the family room for my family total 6 person. The 6 single bed just nice for us. The hotel towel are extremely dirty yellow in color with stain. The room space are very big and clean. The pillow also comfortable. The bathroom shower water very strong.

I want to highlight the hotel breakfast are terrible. 7.30 am start the breakfast time but 7.45 am almost all the food finish and they never top up at all. Hopeless.......
