WARNING TO THOSE LOOKING AT THIS PROPERTY. The description does NOT match the actual hotel. in the description it says it is a minute walk from the sinking bell tower....well it is about 5 miles outside the city. in the middle of nowhere. it says 15 minutes drive from Kapurpurawan? it is about 2 hours drive away. No restaurants closely. . Its a trap. totally. Bookings are non refundable.. Expedia needs to remove this property on the list. .

Expectedly simple and bare, but the toilet did not work as it should.

It is a quiet resort with no permanent reception office. Looks like a deserted place with just person assisting are gardeners and maintainance persons (total of 2) to check you in and out. They are kind people. No wifi in room. You have to walk outside towards the pool to get signal and reception. TV not working. Moulding of bathroom fell off from ceiling. Property grounds green with grass.

Back out next day 2/11 and 2/12/ , poor toilet /shower curtains smells ? Dirty turn on faucet water splash , room not spacious , staff can’t decide what to do /owner diff to reach out (short stafff) needs refund pls our 2days , Expedia Phil

Short staff

Limited wifi , no housekeeping

Treated us as if we were an inconvenience. No restaurants close. Bad view of river. Pool dirty. Top pool used as a tilapia farm. Internet only worked outside the owners room. Dark and a-lot of tripping hazards.After traveling far, tired and needed a shower, hot water heater didn’t work. Toilet backed up. We asked for another room. Attendant said wait till tomorrow. Asked to have a refund, attendant said call expedia. Would have left anyway, but most places were sold out. Don't stay here. Horrible place. They should be removed from Expedia platform.

No TV in the rooms and no window or exhaust in the restroom.

Very scenic, quiet, enjoyed the birds and flowers. Just lovely and the staff was very nice.

Very disappointing, water brackish no hot water did not dare to use shower or brush our teeth; use our own bottled water for personal use. We came in late, as soon as we checked all lights were turned off. Very dark.

The care taker is good
The lady or the owner doesnt have any idea that i book two rooms .I choose superior room but i got regular room.I almost payed 5 thousand pesos with no breakfast.
The swimming pool is dangerous to swim cause of sharp tiles that cut My daughters little toe.The location is far from everything .Everything look nice in pictures but in reality it is the opposite.
Perhaps one of the worst hotel i been cause of experience and treatment .It is not good at all to spent a single penny !
Do not stay in this place !!

I like the fact that the place very peaceful and quiet. A little far from amneties poor access due to luck of staff to open locked gates.

Terrible place. Security is very poor. The room has no deadlock, windows has poor locks. They turn off all the general lights at night which make the place pitch black at night. The bathroom cleanliness is terrible. Hairs are visible on the beddings.

The reason why we chose Rio Grande was for the swimming pool. The pool was dirty and nothing was done to clean it. The hotel rooms needs refurbishing for a most comfortable stay. Wl not visit again

The location given in the map is wrong. The room was run down and needs renovation. But the staff are nice and helpful

Hotel is very secluded, Check in was very unpleasant no front desk, the hotel gate was closed, you have to ring the gate buzzer and a guy named Arthur came out and have no clue about our arrival. He needed to call the owner from a remote and undisclosed area in order to check if we were really had a booking. And have to call expedia to clarify and verify pur booking. The rooms we booked was 4 all in all and none of the room was ready. They needed to call
Someone to help them prepare our rooms and have to stay outside waiting for the rooms to be ready after driving long hours from Manila. The place is so dark, the pool was not kept and was dirty. But the staff who were there turned out to be friendly in the end. The place was serene and quiet if someone needed a very quiet moment. It needs serious upkeeping.

I can say that we had a wonderful stay at this tropical hotel . The staff are friendly, tbe room is clean and the place is just like a hidden paradise in the city.
