Lovely hotel set in immaculately maintained vast gardens. Mostly older clientele with very few families.

We had a generous size room on floor 4 overlooking the pool with a sea view through the mature palm trees. It was very well equipped, good A/C with also a ceiling fan, fantastic large powerful shower, shaving mirror, hairdryer, room safe (free), plenty of storage space and hangers.

The room also had a kettle and the staff in the restaurant give us a small jug of fresh milk for tea which just fitted in the room fridge. The beds were excellent and we ordred some extra pillows through the app. The housekeeping team were brilliant and the room was always cleaned to a very high standard. They also did a turn down service and provided extta clean towels if needed. The balcony had two retractactable sun chairs and we were south facing so had sun all day.

Pool. In fact there were three pools outdoors. They were heated ( as far as we could tell) as they were always a lovely temperature. Again immaculate. The sunbeds seemed fairly new but when we arrived had no matresses and were a bit uncomfortable. A few days later hey presto a whole set of sunbed matresses arrived and put on every sunbed. No more uncomfortable sunbeds! The pool is lovely and looks good. However the grey thermo plastic tiles surrounding the pool can be very slippery. There are warning signs saying so, so tread carefully.

Food. Buffet has everything you could possibly ask for both for breakfast and dinner.
Apart from some of the larger ultra luxury hotels we have stayed in we have never seen so much choice at breakfast. With chefs at various stations cooking fresh if you wished.
Dinner was the same. The meat chef cooked me a steak (NY strip sirloin was on offer that evening) without adding salt during cooking. Pork duck chicken beef burger. They had the lot over various days with sauces stews etc. Fish station: prawns, salmon, John Dory,
Hake, Tilapia, Tuna, Swordfish. What more could you wish for. There was also  large vegetarian section and pizza and pasta. The two specialist restaurants brilliant.

Staff. They will do everything possible to make sure you enjoy your holiday. We could not praise them enough. All of them without exception.

Direkte Strandlage, tolle Poollandschaft mit Palmen. Palmengarten. Zimmer sehr sauber und modern. Essen draußen.

Hotel meraviglioso, in un enorme giardino di palme, vicino alle dune, al faro, con un personale sempre a disposizione, sorridente. Camere grandi, si mangia bene e vario. Piscine da sogno…ci si sente coccolati!

Die Lage des Hotels war für mich sehr gut.
Direkt am Meer und Dünen , öffentl.Nahverkehr und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen.
Die Buffets, ob morgens oder abends, sind Spitzenqualität.

Location

Very good hotel. Beautiful grounds with hundreds of tres and lake with waterfall. Room was very spacious with plenty of storage. Very clean and comfortable. Terrace onto grass was nice but didn’t get the sun In February. Food variety and quality excellent. Always easy to get a table. Staff very efficient and friendly. We also visited the two specialty restaurants which were a la crate at NO extra cost! Which is very unusual. There is live entertainment every night which was a high standard. Plenty of patio heaters as it was chilly in the evenings in February. Good temperature during the day 20-24
Easy access to a beach and shops using the back entrance to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for a winter holiday.

Amazing gardens! The hotel is placed on a generous plot, full of tall green palm trees and a perfectly maintained grass - which provide a relaxing atmosphere all around, absorbs the crowds and noise away. Walking around in these gardens is an experience on its own. And within the garden there are some generous swimming pools.

Then, the resort is nicely positioned, right on the golden beach, sand dunes and just behind the famous lighthouse. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops along the promenade.

Food was exceptional in the buffet restaurant. An unbelievable variety and assortments of food to all tastes and preferences. Exposed nicely in a large restaurant, so that there is never a waiting queue to get served. And the staff is always there, helpful to assist. It is a nice extra to have torches in the outdoor areas, providing a nice warm temperature even in the cooler evenings/mornings for those who still prefer sitting outdoor.

The gated parking is very convenient too. The room, equipment, cleanliness, comfort a were all up to the highest standards.

Overall, highly recommended!

Had 6 nights here and the Hotel exceeded expectations. Food was excellent and so convenient to walking the Beach and very near the Promenade for nice walk. Room very clean and comfortable. Only item missing was cushions on Pool Beds which would have made it more comfortable. Pool very clean and always easy to get a Bed. We used Spa facilities also and were happy.
