4 night stay. Hotel was affordable & mediocre. Staff was friendly, nice to have refrigerator & cooktop. Heat source was a wall unit which was old & noisy. Hot breakfast was provided, but pretty simple- powdered eggs, no juice, weak coffee. Would be nice to have some boiled eggs as an option & better coffee & juice. Carpet in room felt dirty- bring slippers! We’d stay again if looking for affordable, knowing you get what you pay for.
Rooms a little wore out
Everything was nice. Check-in was delayed due to a long line and only one person checking people in. Manager was seen but didn’t bother to help out with opening another line to check everyone in. Kids were constantly running in the halls even after 11pm
For being "overbooked", they had one front desk person on that seemed inexperienced, taking about 10 min per customer to take ID then CC back to side room out of view. First room issued was occupied. 2nd room had lock deactivated upon arrival, and again after returning home from a morning out, where anyone could have walked right in. TV kept turning itself off, and occasionally back on, without our input. Very little dishes (no silverware) for a kitchenette. Tub was very creaky.
Check in was easy and convenient.
Staff was friendly
Room was unfinished just boards in kitchen microwave on storage shelf no closet just a shelf to place stuff on no counter room in bathroom there was a lot of inconveniences in room it didn’t feel welcoming
Outside there was a 2 men clearly had to much to drink with a case of beer
For $260 I expect more
I didnt like anything about the property. Room was not neat, AC isnt working, bathroom taps and tub is very terrible, not clean and looks like very old with low quality. I have noticed mold on the ceilings of the room. No fan and sweating all the time
Breakfast was terrible. I don’t know how you mess up golden waffles but they were gummy in the middle, even after cooking past the time. It wasn’t fully out until after we needed to leave and be done eating so we were limited to the breads. Eggs were wet and sad.
Toilet clogged ! Tv did not work, no shampoo or conditioner in containers in the shower, just lousy for amount of $$. Dirty
It’s definitely an extended stay hotel. Lots of guys hanging outside their rooms. I would be uncomfortable staying here as a single female traveler. The rooms are small…double beds, and awkwardly set up. The small TV is set up at a ninety degree angle to the bed. To be fair, the guy working the front desk was friendly and the room is clean but dated. If you can, spend a little more money to stay elsewhere.
NA
Made reservation through Travelocity to pay at check in, no reservation found when check in. Had to remake via online to get a preferred price. Front desk was helpful. Wanted to do laundry however coin operated and no change available, laundry detergent all sold out. Had to go down street to car wash for change and used dish soap to wash clothes, not the best set up.
I was blindly charged a fee from GreenTree for "taxes and fees" after our stay. In talking with the hotel they claimed that they often times aren't reimbursed for taxes from hotels.com so they charge the card on file with no notification (we did go to the front desk to check out - they had an opportunity to mention this). As far as the rooms go, nothing fancy. Great if you like the smell of Fabuloso. My shoes stuck to the tile floor as I walked around the room. Mattress was uncomfortable. Doesn't feel like they vacuum the hallways. They were also short staffed and unable to man the front desk for guests during breakfast because they didn't have enough help.
Traveling on business constricts options financially, so I visited the Green Tree on a budget. Turns out that not all affordably priced hotels are made equal. I'm keeping track of the "never visit again" hotel chains and the Green Tree Inn has now made that list. Traveling on business, I'd expected to stay for two weeks and then unexpectedly needed to cancel the remainder of my stay after two nights. The total of which came to about $300. As of yet, three weeks later, they still have $2,980 of your taxpayer money. It's been extremely difficult to reach the manager, and the Customer Service line can only tell me to take it up with the manager. I am now home and miles and miles from the location. I've opened a case with my bank to retrieve the money.
The hotel blamed your company for not being able to rent us our room for the night. They overbooked their hotel and said that they could not honor our reservation. When your rep. Contacted the hotel the said that we checked in to late, 8:00 pm check in is not too late !
The extended stay has a courtyard with grills and tables. The staff does not enforce a quiet time for guests using this area. We had to call to let them know that the conversations and music in the courtyard were too loud at 11:30pm.
Overall I would recommend
We got checked in early!
We couldn’t sleep
Tv in room didn’t work and phone didn’t work either. So much banging
I had a problem with check in and was paid extra
Only problem was i booked through Expedia and not the hotel directly. Expidia wont tell you, up to $100 of hidden fees. There is NO point in booking through a third party!!!!! Call the hotel directly!!!!!!
Find the hotel you want and call them directly! If you dont, not only will you pay the actual price but you will also pay Expidia's service fees as well!!!! Trust this review!!!!!!!
