KTDC Tea County Munnar

Location was excellent. Atmosphere was very very serene. Rooms were specious well designed. It was very clean. Noise level was NIL. Excellent service, food, and staff were very polite and courteous.

Our stay at Tea County Munnar was truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were welcomed with friendly smiles and a refreshing atmosphere. Each and every staff was very professional and they did an excellent service.
The views from the resort are breathtaking, especially in the early morning. The rooms were cozy, clean, and perfectly suited for a peaceful holiday. The food was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt at home. If you're looking for a calm and scenic place to unwind in Munnar, Tea County is a great pick!
Special Thanks to the manager, Mr. Manoj who made sure we had a very pleasant stay. Also, the chief chef who checked our dietary requirements and made food for us. One of the best vacations we had there.

We had a nice experience during our stay. Though it was raining intermittently, we could have a half day tour through KSRTC Bus (Royal View - Double Deck Sight seeing).

The staff of KTDC was very courteous and hospitality was at its best all the time. All our requests were gracefully honoured and fulfilled to the best of our satisfaction.

We had a good stay at KTDC Tea County, Munnar. The location is peaceful, scenic, and close to town while still feeling secluded. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was courteous throughout our stay.

However, the big letdown was the food. Unfortunately, it was the most disappointing of our entire Kerala trip. The variety, taste, and overall quality left a lot to be desired, especially considering the otherwise premium experience of the property.

We would recommend staying here for the views and comfort, but definitely explore dining options outside the hotel if you're particular about food.

I have recently stayed at the KTDC Tea County, Munnar for 2 Nights along with my family. Overall, our stay was not only comfortable but also relaxing. The property is located at the hills and has a good view. Rooms were clean and hygiene. Food was also decent, offering good spreads.

However, I faced a serious issue with their Massage/Spa service. I had opted for the full-body massage package and just after the massage my whole body had a rash with a severe skin infection. Next day, I had to leave for another destination to Thekkady and the infection kept unbearable, where I had to rush to the Hospital for anti-allergy injection and was kept under observation for half couple of hours.

Even five days later, I am still under treatment, and my doctor has advised that it may take another couple of weeks to recover fully.

We recently stayed at KTDC Tea County, Munnar, and overall, the experience was wonderful. The property is set amidst lush greenery, offering serene views and a very calm atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and gave a very comfortable stay. Staff at the reception and housekeeping were courteous and helpful, making the check-in and stay smooth.

However, one aspect that left me disappointed was the dining experience. While the food itself was decent, I clearly felt bias in the way guests were treated at the restaurant. As a North Indian traveler, it was evident that the warmth and attentiveness given to South Indian guests was not extended in the same way to us. This put a dampener on what was otherwise a great stay.I truly hope the management takes care of this, because Tea County is a beautiful property and has all the potential to provide an equally welcoming experience to every guest, regardless of where they come from.

Beautiful wide greener campus /location & good management & staff is also very cooperative -Enjoyed hospitality . Will visit frequently lovey place.

Our stay at Tea County was absolutely exceptional. The staff's politeness and warmth were beyond anything we've experienced, even at overseas resorts—they truly set a new standard for hospitality.

The food was incredible. The buffet had a great variety, and every dish we tried over two days was delicious. A special shout-out to the chef!

The bathroom is small the size of 2 planes bathroom. The lid of the toilet seat will keep touching your back and you have barely any space to do your business. There are lizards in the room and bugs get in from underneath the door. And if you have elderly people, it is very hard to walk from room to lobby with all the difficult steps. There are 38 steps from our room that we stayed in and the stairs are very slippery. And the food was not a great quality either. Also, there was limited choices for non-Indian food for breakfast.

Though initially our tour organiser recommended another Hotel, I chose Tea County mainly due to proximity to Munnar town & also had read positive reviews , and am truly happy we chose to stay there ! Excellent location ,beautiful property and a superb buffet spread too

Though there was a slight issue regards the rooms reserved for our group ,but it was resolved (of course after our persistence with the reservation desk) by Mr Ajith ,a special thanks to him ,

Also a special Thanks to Mr Rajith of the Restaurant for complying to all Dinner requests with a smile ,,on the first dinner as we told them that we will not be having the sea food starter in the buffet & if they could arrange something else they did & served us some delicious hot samosas ...

We stayed here after having to leave another (utterly terrible) hotel in Munnar - this wonderful hotel made up for 10 times over!
The staff were utterly amazing - went above and beyond to settle us in, upgraded us, made sure they could rush through all our laundry to get back in time. Nothing was too much effort!

The hotel itself is a perfect location to walk / tuk tuk in town, absolutely beautiful views and flowers, kids playground, bar.

Absolutely loved my stay! The villa was spotless and incredibly comfortable. All the staff were fantastic—especially Jennifer at reception and Biju Gopinath in the restaurant—warm, friendly, and always ready to help. The location was perfect and made it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Since every aspect which a tourist expects is satisfied by Tea County KTDC, Munnar I will only give my suggestion about the travel time taken from this hotel to KSRTC bus stand Munnar. Though the distance from the said hotel to KSRTC bus stand is just 5 minutes the time taken is about 20 minutes due to traffic condition. So my advice is plan according if you have opted bus service from KSRTC bus stand, Munnar. However it is to emphasize that hotel staff arranges transport service from hotel

Prime Location and surrounding/climate within the KTDC was great.
Food: Complimentary breakfast was good. Evening buffet was good. Room service food was okay but expensive. Very friendly staff. It's better to visit and check the room before check-in... based on the availability.
