Beds were comfortable
Room was far too small to use as a family room. No fridge, or storage for clothes apart from a hanger and shelve above a bed that couldn’t be used as the bed was in use and the shelves too high.
No one on reception place seems abandoned. Girls in the bar were helpful as there was no one else present. Very strange set up as place was locked up.
No food or drink as bar was closed and no fridge in room which we didn’t like. Room was expensive for the condition and size. Definitely needs a deep clean and more facilities adding for a more comfortable stay.
Lovely location, and peaceful
Unfortunately we had problems with our bathroom and on our arrival there was no toilet roll. The property wasn’t offering any food and were closing the pub at 7pm. No one was in reception the next morning to check us out, no information on who to contact if we needed anything.
Such a lovely hotel, it was the perfect stay for me and what I needed. Staff were so nice and friendly, service was great and breakfast was great.
Thank you so much!
If I was being really picky the only things I thought would really elevate my experience would be a more comfortable mattress (the mattress is okay, but not amazing) and black out curtains/blinds would also be really helpful as the current curtains barely stop any light getting in.
The whole family friendly, home from home experience , food wonderf , staff lovely
Nothing
Very friendly welcome! The bar and restaurant facilities are lovely and spacious! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and amazing value for money. The owner is a very lovely lady who couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you so much for a great stay.

We booked this hotel as a very last minute over night stay after visiting the island. What a brilliant place.
We were met straight away with a beaming smile and checked in within minutes.
The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with everything needed and presented very well. The views were amazing.
The bar was well stocked, I recommend the draft budweiser, and the price was very very good.
We decided to have breakfast at the hotel after Sue offered us the option. We are so glad we did. A huge selection of cereals, pastries, fruit and as for the cooked breakfast, wow. Proper, fresh ingredients, quality meats and cooked beautifully. I challenge anyone to find a breakfast that good with so much choice for £15!
Sue, if you see this. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and we will definitely be seeing you again soon, but for longer.
Absolutely nothing - prefect stay in every way
Good place for an overnight stay on the Anglesey Coast Path. They do supper and a great breakfast. New owner is upgrading the place.
As the name indicates, it's rural.
