There are currently construction activities close to the castle Ranzow. We can not exclude the possibility of disruption during the weekdays due to the construction activities. Gute Lage aber nicht den Preis wert.
Pros:

Die Lage war gut und es gab einen Parkplatz direkt am Eingang.
Ich hatte einen Obstteller und Sekt für die Anreise vorher telefonisch bestellt, das hat gut geklappt und der Obstteller war sehr gut.

Cons:

Mit Romantik hat das Hotel nun wirklich nix zu tun.
Das Zimmer welches wir hatten befand sich im Anbau und hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Im Bad gab es eine tolle Staubschicht, die Ablage unter dem Spiegel hing auf halb acht und man hatte Angst etwas darauf abzustellen. Es gab einige unverschlossene Bohrlöcher und die Fliesenfugen in der Dusche sind sehr schön dunkel, was zumindest für mich wie Schimmel ausschaut. Es gibt zwar ein neues Waschbecken, nur schade dass man nicht alle Teile der alten grauen Silikonfugen nicht entfernen konnte.
Im Zimmer selber ist es zwar toll, dass es Verdunklungsvorhänge gibt, die nützen nur nix, da die Balkontür daneben nur ein Plissee hat, Verdunklung hahaha, aber Spinnen scheinen sich wohl zu fühlen, zumindest wenn man nach den Spinnweben im Zimmer geht. Dazu kommt, dass es mega hellhörig ist, man hört jeden die Treppe rauf oder runter gehen, es knallt ständig die Tür zum Wohnblock, man hört aus den diversen Nachbarzimmern ob sich jemand einen Kaffee kocht oder duscht.
Das Frühstück soll bis 11 Uhr gehen, aber bereits kurz vor 10 Uhr gibt es kaum mehr Brötchen, die allerdings auch nicht besonders gut sind, es muss nach fast allem nachgefragt werden, da vieles fast leer ist.
Fazit gute Lage, aber auf keinen Fall den Preis wert.

Als „Wiederholungstäter“ waren wir vom Hotel enttäuscht, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr und vermut
Pros:

Der schöne Balkon, der windgeschützt zum Garten lag. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Cons:

Ein sehr kleines Zimmer, im Bad kann sich eigentlich nur 1 Person aufhalten. Die Ausstattung war (gemessen am Preis) recht einfach und teilweise schon „abgewohnt“. Vorhandenes Geschirr teilweise noch verschmutzt, ebenso Schmutz auf dem (frischen) Bettlaken. Im Bad war es auch nicht wirklich sauber.

Overnachting niet in het kasteel, zonde.

De omgeving van Schloss Ranzow is prachtig, maar de ervaring zelf was een diepe teleurstelling. Na meer dan 1.100 kilometer rijden via Hannover, Leipzig en Berlijn, keken we uit naar twee nachten in het slot. Dit had het hoogtepunt van onze reis moeten zijn, maar het werd een flinke domper.

Op Booking.com werd vooral reclame gemaakt met foto’s van de ruime kamers in het slot zelf – dat was ook dé reden dat ik geboekt had voor bijna €500. Eenmaal aangekomen werden we echter niet in het slot ondergebracht, maar in een klein appartementenkamertje in een bijgebouw ernaast. De kamer was op zich prima, maar absoluut niet waarvoor ik gekozen en betaald had. Waarom adverteren met de grote kamers van het slot, als gasten vervolgens in een bijgebouw terechtkomen? Dit voelt misleidend en oneerlijk.

Daarbovenop stapelden de teleurstellingen zich op. We hadden gereserveerd om ’s avonds in het slot te dineren, maar dat kon niet doorgaan: volgens de receptie had de ene kok een hernia en de andere last van zijn been. Natuurlijk kan ziekte gebeuren, en gelukkig waren er alternatieven in de buurt, maar dit is niet waar je voor boekt of op hoopt bij zo’n verblijf. De massagesalon bleek ook gesloten. De infinity pool is mooi, maar moesten we eerst zelf schoonmaken. Ontbijt was in orde, maar ook daar hing een onzekere sfeer.

Al met al was dit geen beleving van bijna €500 waard. Wat het hoogtepunt van onze reis had moeten zijn, werd een aaneenschakeling van teleurstellingen. Heel zonde, zeker na meer dan 1.100 kilometer rijden.

Wonderful hotel, great golf course and great restaurant.
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Schloss Ranzow, the rooms were big enough and the mattress good.
The golf course was great too. Loved the breakfast it had everything you needed

Cons:

Unfortunately when we arrived on of our tdoor key card didn’t work, and I needed to go several times down to the reception to tell the staff that it doesn’t work and we are still not able to access the room :(.
Not once did the staff offered us to get a coffee and wait until they solved the problem. It took almost 20-30 minutes where I needed to go down and up trying to see if the room key would now work or not.

Lovely, tranquil hotel in excellent location with good facilities
Pros:

Excellent, tranquil location, with stunning view towards Cape Arkona, very obliging staff

Cons:

Breakfast not as good as during our last visit (no fruit juice two days during our stay). Development of the site - we we’re disturbed by building work, but are concerned these may detract from the tranquility of the location in the future.
