Staff were ok
Limited choice of breakfast asked for scrambled egg on toast was told to do own toast! Bed was uncomfortable. Limited choice only 2 cereals available and set cooked breakfasts mushrooms were tinned and not fresh we left on Sunday when we were due to check out Monday morning as the thought of spending another night on such an uncomfortable bed put us off
Lovely Budget hotel. Friendly atmosphere from staff to other guests. Was safe & comfortable with nice clean rooms. Breakfast was an added bonus.
Heating needs to be fixed for colder days to come.
It was very good value, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great (except the coffee, which was instant).
The coffee. If there had been some filter coffee it would have been so appreciated. But that's the only issue. Overall, it really was very good.

No hairdryer in the room and the second room we booked had one ok the wall which wasn’t very strong.

Close to sea front with parking. Very clean, good shower. Breakfast ok.
Noise from trains. Thin, frayed towels. Thin mattress on the bed. Car park quite small - takes about 8 or 9 cars and is quite tight in places if you have a larger car.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff, and the restaurant and breakfast food was excellent and the hotel was clean and tidy
The only issue was that the shower head was split still managed to use it also we had our grandson with us 4 years would have been nice if we were on a lower level not the top of the hotel
Beautiful building and site. Clean and very pleasant, helpful staff. Roomy bedroom.
The bed was very uncomfortable (room 2), with a big dip in it. We had to turn the mattress round to sleep better the 2nd night. Small breakfast choice, and poor quality apple juice, bread and coffee, and no oat milk.

The night manager didn’t seem pleased to see us, no smile, no response to an attempt at small talk. Just basics telling us what to do like a robot.
It was clean the staff were friendly there was parking at the property the rooms had everything you needed especially at this price point. Our room had a comfortable bed and the breakfast was good with time slot booking and excellent service. The location was very convenient by car for all the locations we wanted to visit. Train station right across the road a the bottom of the hill easy walk. Beach down the road walking distance.
The last night was staff karaoke/ training session (which is a great idea) but was loud right above our room they did stop at 10.30 pm and are only happen every few months. However we would stay again especially at this price point mid week.
Lovely size room, very clean and comfortable beds. Staff very friendly, excellent service. Perfect breakfast.
Some fittings in the bathroom needed some attention.
