Pros:

reception is fine

Cons:

It is marketed and priced as a 5 star hotel but it is far from 5-star hotel level. (1) Housekeeping wasn't done thoroughly. (2) hotel was very old and the sound isolation was poor. We constantly heard people coughing, sweeping the garden, and talking outside of the room, not to mention the noise from the river. (3) Staff was constantly on their cellphone. We went down for breakfast and waited more than half an hour, and there was no service. There were two staff nearby but they were on their phone instead of trying to help hotel guests. (4) I ordered beer by the pool. The beer was warm, not even chilled.

Generally, i think it is completely overpriced. A 3 star inn disguised in a 5 star rating.

A delightful stay which felt like you stepped into another world from a busy Bangkok!
Pros:

It felt like a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok! The staff were really welcoming and helped us a lot. It was really quiet majority of the time we were there. The bed was comfortable and the room was cute and cozy.

Cons:

Since it is a small hotel they do not really have a lobby. Which is fine but the library which was used as a meeting room probably needs some refurbishment. The AC wasn’t working very well and it didn’t keep up with appearances with the rest of the hotel. Same with the restaurant toilets, they need to be renovated as well.

Pros:

Cet hôtel est très bien situé proche des lieux culturels et au bord du fleuve. Il a énormément de cachet et de charme. La piscine est très bien. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipée. Le personnel est très attentionné et le petit-déjeuner en face du fleuve exquis.

Exceptional accommodation in the heart of a busy city
Pros:

Breakfast on the deck was wonderful. The staff, the garden, the pool, the escape from the hustle and bustle outside is what makes Chakrabongse villas exceptional

Probably one of the best butique hotels in Bangkok
Pros:

A fantastic location next to the river and many places of interest. Restaurang located directly on a veranda on the riverside. Very good breakfast. Nice pool. Wonderful staff.

Overpriced but beautiful.
Pros:

1. Breakfast included with your choice of Western or Thai food
2. Beautiful riverside setting near beautiful temples
3. Great restaurants and cafes on Maharat Road, at least two are Michelin Guide
4. Beautifully preserved and restored Thai colonial architecture

部屋が素晴らしかった。タイの伝統的な装飾が施され、床もおそらくチーク材。匂いを消すために、蘭を飾っている。スタッフの対応も素晴らしい。警備も万全。夕涼みが出来るコーヒーハウスがあり、目前にアルン寺院がある。ワットポーや王宮は直ぐそば。日本で言えば、京都の有名旅館。

Cons:

5月に行ったこと。雨期が近く、湿度が高かった。乾季がいいかもしれない。あとは、バスタブがないこと。
