Pros:

Mostly our stay was positive and we enjoyed it

Pros:

Close to the beach for an evening walk, good walking distance to esplanade and pier.
I stayed in a ground floor apartment, the cooking facilities are not great but it was a lovely place.

Cons:

The little gardens outside the apartment needed TLC.

I would never stay with Breakfree again. I hope is that my feed back gets to Breakfree to fix up.
Pros:

We knew where the location was. The only thing that was ok with the room was the bed was ok to sleep, however I wouldn't say confortable.

Cons:

Oh boy where do I start. As soon as we walked in the door we were hit with the smell of burnt bacon, absolutely disgusting. There was grease on the bench tops, the range hood I would say has not been cleaned in a long while and even had broken parts and mould in the bathroom was disgusting mainly in the bath/shower, also the bathroom floor was dirty. Apparently this room had been cleaned but I'm not sure by whom! I would be checking to see what the cleaners actually do. I am aware that the property is old but really do better or don't rent out this room (165). Also, no wifi get with the times people.

Loved it, lovely quiet spot, yet close to the Mariner & nice walking paths.
Pros:

They managed to meet my request for a ground floor unit, it was perfect!. The facilities were a bit dated, but really comfy, everything worked well. The reception team were helpful, professional and really accomodating. Even the lovely cleaning lady was helpful when I was trying to source supplied products, (which I couldn't find).

Cons:

Due to extreme stormy weather (flooding) I needed to take some detours, I arrived after hours, dark, I have trouble finding the place. There wasn't a return a contact number for me to call the reception team to advise them of my circumstances (late arrival) which heightened my anxiety when I did eventually find the place. I couldn't find the facility, a light on the outside street sign would have been REALLY helpful and more specific directions in advance.

We didn't want to leave! Stayed on ground floor then changed to a 3 bedroom boat harbour view was spectacular!
Pros:

Absolute beachfront with the grass under your feet and the waters edge right in front of your room. Ground floor is the way to go. We loved the ease!

The keys were hard to find and it would’ve been better if reception was open as we had come from interstate. Plenty to d
Pros:

The Tv although small was a TCL, it was sharp and really easy to watch. The bed and linen were extremely clean. The body wash, hand cream , shampoo were excellent. The balcony was great as you could lookout and just relax.

Cons:

There was no A/C in the main bedroom. There was water coming through the range hood when we were cooking in the kitchen and potentially could have wrecked our steak in the frypan. A serviceman witnessed it when we called reception. There were ants in the lounge room. The whole unit was dated and looked like you stepped back in the Time Machine for the 80s.
The gate at the front of the property needs a tap on card not a key and this needs to have a canopy over it as you get wet when it’s raining. The security gate key holder needs to be extended as you really need to reach out of the car..
The shower wall ( spa ) was too high to get into and dangerous in getting out when your wet. There needs to be a bar so you can hang to so you don’t slip over.

Location was perfect room and bed nice and big

Cons:

The smell, I would say that the owner or the last person's in this room had a cooking disaster. The smell was horrendous and was in the range hood and air conditioner. Would have asked for another room but had already organised things to do that afternoon and early morning. Let the room air out while out and about which helped but wasn't game to use the air conditioner. Brought it up with management and was given air fresheners. This was the only complaint as everything else was good

Pros:

The curtains were stained with mold and dust as was piles of dust on fans. The carpet was stained both in the apartment and common stair well. There was whole false finger nail left on the table indicating it had not been cleaned. The air condition smell and blow out mould indicating it had not been serviced. No tea towels or washing liquid was provided. It need renovating.
