Hotel is nice but let down by breakfast
Pros:

Large room and bed with comfortable seating

Cons:

Breakfast… hot food was cold. When we asked for bread for toast (only one small crust left in basket) we were told there was no more. Most expensive cup of tea, hard boiled egg and minuscule bread roll I’ve ever purchased.

Nice hotel and spacious room. Great location to nearby attractions.
Pros:

Spacious room, great location near the Matsumoto Castle and other attractions. The hotel had bicycles for free use and we enjoyed touring the city on these.

Really good quality hotel very close to the castle.
Pros:

We stayed here for two nights on our three week tour of Japan and would happily stay here again. Lovely modern hotel superbly located for the castle about fifteen minutes from the station. We cabbed there to get bearings, but dragged the bags on the way out - no problem. The breakfast room is located in the old banking hall and is fab, but the rest of the hotel is a modern building built on

Meh.
Pros:

Clean and a good location.

Cons:

Tiny room and too expensive. I also tripped and fell at breakfast and this nearly ruined my trip. No offer for compensation other than apologies.
