Great place for a couple of days in Matsumoto
Pros:

Great hotel in a very good location. We paid extra for the breakfast, which we found to be good value. Very good location for a visit to the castle especially and not far from the train station for a day trip. Room was a little small, but just about OK for the two of us with big bags.

Pros:

Cons:

Do café da manhã e fo tamsnho fo quarto

Pros:

Location location location

Cons:

Simple things like not consistently having the tea or coffee for guests at the reception area. And I realize very early or very late it may not be practical. But during regular morning hour or later in an afternoon I would expect it.

Top Lage für Matsumoto Burg
Pros:

Ok hotel, yet nothing to write home about.
Pros:

The hotel is ok, yet not above average. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.

Cons:

Yet, compared to other Japanese hotels it lacks amenities. For example the hotel has no microwave for its customers. So if you happen to buy food at a convenience store and would like to heat it, that is not possible.
The rooms are small and there is no common room like in some other Japanese hotels.
Generally the facility seems a bit dated.
