Alam Bali Hotel

Only stayed there for the day because our flight was leaving at night. Happy we didn't book it for the rest of our stay. Wouldn't really want to sleep there.
When we entered the room LOTS of mosquito's! The room looked old and not really clean. Can't say it was dirty but not clean either. Was also a bit smelly in the bathroom.
Outside of the hotel looked nice as in the pictures, just like the pool but the room was not ok.

Awesome place to stay, very friendly staff. Not on the beach but a five minute walk. I liked the location.

would stay here again. for what we paid for a night it was good value, breakfast was basic but good ,staff were very friendly and helpful, good location close o beach , good restaurants . had some problems at checkin, booked 4 rooms for 2 nights but staff sorted it out quickly

The room is basic but very clean. So if you are after a clean, room with a shower and free wifi, then this is the place to stay. They have breakfast included and a small swimming pool.

No water let alone hot water.
Turned lights off to go to sleep & all the power went off so slept with lights on for a/c.
Continental brekky was choice of noodles or eggs.

The hotel is set in a quiet Balinese garden. Very peaceful. Typically Balinese. Rooms need refurbishment but no complaints for the price. Will stay there again.

Wonderful lower priced place very quiet, nice pool, basic needs in room met. Delicious breakfast each morning. Fine for families, over the road from the beach loved it.

Our room was small, windowless and very old. The grounds could be lovely with some attention to detail. We changed hotels the following night.

Firstly this hotels is no 3star hotel. It should be half star!! Blankets were very dirty and sheets also. A lot of mosquitos and no sleeping till morning. But thank God we changed to another hotel next day.

The location of the hotel was okay. Taxi from the airport to the hotel was 150 000 IDR fixed price, while it was 70 000 IDR going back..
The breakfast was good, 6 options to choose from every day.
The room itself was nothing more then you payed for. It had everything I needed, but looked worn out and not so clean. The shower was a bit broken, but had all the the hot water you need. If you are unlucky and have neigbours who are noicy or smoking, it will reach you through the cracks around the doors and windows, but it was never bad enough to keep me awake.
The courtyards were really nice. I don't think any of the rooms have what you would call a view.
Across the street there is a nice beach bar/restaurant with a small pool and sunbeds where you can stay as long as you like if you order something (50 000 IDR or more#.
The hotel is in the middle of an area with lots of water sports going on, so if you want a more peaceful beach you should take a taxi #or hire a scooter# to for instance Gerger beach #40 000 IDR for the taxi# which is fairly close and has cheep sunbeds #20 000 IDR# and food.
The staff was sweet and helpful, and most of them had sufficient English.
They did not offer a room for my suitcases from check out till I was leaving for the airport though.
Tip: Not all taxi drivers know of this small hotel, so keep the full adress and the phonenumber of the hotel with you at all times #they've got handy little cards for this purpose in the reseption).
