Decent hotel, close to the station - perfect for business trip
Pros:

Location was very convenient, just a short walk from East Croydon Station. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly and explained everything clearly. The room was well designed with a sofa, small desk for working and thoughtful storage. Good bathroom and comfortable bed.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok - decent cooked buffet, but would have liked more fresh fruit and continental options. One thing that spoiled an otherwise good room was sound insulation to the adjoining room which wasn’t great - all too easy to hear their TV and conversation

Hospitality at it’s best - Thanks to Manoj, Garima and Ved
Pros:

Our family of three—my wife, our 12‑year‑old daughter, and I—recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in East Croydon for five nights, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely guest‑focused.

A very special mention must go to Manoj, who works in the breakfast section. His kindness, attentiveness, and warm personality made every morning feel brighter. He went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy, and his dedication truly stood out. Staff members like him deserve to be recognised—his work should absolutely be awarded.

At the reception, Garima and Ved were equally exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Whether it was assisting with check‑in, offering local tips, or simply making us feel at home, their hospitality made a real difference to our stay.

Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Clean rooms, great location, and an outstanding team. We left with lovely memories and would happily return.

Il check-in è stato veloce e il personale della reception si è mostrato sin da subito gentile e disponibile. La stanza era silenziosa e pulita. La colazione abbondante e variegata, i camerieri molto disponibili. Una menzione speciale per il sig. Manoj, sepre disponibile e sorridente, che ci ha coccolato in tutte le nostre esigenze. Bravi tutti e ci vedremo sicuramente presto.

Delightful and relaxing
Pros:

Breakfast is very good. staff are very attentive and the refill in the buffet is quick. Particularly staff manoj always cheerful and helpful. Garema and france very helpful front desk staff.
