Good location. Room is totally fine. Bar in the lobby is nice and chill.

The staff were extremely reluctant to give any help or advice about anything.

One example.

I was staying during the first 1 or 2 nights of the World Cup. I asked where I could watch the football the receptionist said “I don’t know I don’t watch football”.

lol! I had to laugh at that. I am not asking YOU to watch football. I am a guest in your hotel asking where it is possible for me to watch the biggest sporting tournament in the world…

Then they told me they would screen it in the hotel bar. So I rushed back later that evening in time to watch it. And a different receptionist said that no they will not show it and they never show football.
