Nice, quiet, centrally located hotel with helpful staff.
Pros:

Some basic gluten-free items included in the breakfast choices.
Pretty good central location.

Cons:

No kettle in room for making drinks - you have to go right down to the ground floor to get drinks.
Shower not good in either of the rooms I stayed in: one was extremely small (even for a small woman) and the other an awkward, over-bath one.
Not all rooms have AC: remember to check when booking.
There are steps up to the lift, so luggage has to be carried up to the (very small) lift.

A very pleasant and relaxing stay, highly recommended all year round!
Pros:

Hôtel 1924 was more than a very pleasant stay. We had only booked one night, but I would have happily stayed for the entire holiday. The hotel exudes such a pleasant atmosphere, the building is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious with homemade nut cake (delicious) and jam (also delicious) and so much more. But the most pleasant thing was the relaxed atmosphere. The people who welcome you, answer all your questions, show you around the city and surroundings, take care of your breakfast and handle your bill—it all happens so relaxed and calmly that you slow down yourself. And that was wonderful. Thank you.
