Fantastic as always
Pros:

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years because the location is fantastic for the beach, shopping, eating and walking. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff always friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

I usually stay in one of the apartments, but only staying for one night this time opted for a double en-suite which was nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed, fridge and kettle. However, my only gripe was the amount of LED lights, causing the room to light up with an otherworldly glow in the night. If you like to sleep in a dark room you will have to spend some time covering the LEDs.

The location was great.

Cons:

We booked because it had a roof terrace but later were infirmed it was closed for the year. Our room was very unwellcoming it was painted grey and had no pictures or any kind of adornments but worst of all there was no natural light and it was very cold.

Great location, very spacious room with all necessary facilities
Pros:

The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely sunny terrace, there was a kettle and cups and a fridge in the room which was a nice addition. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower area. The location was close to plenty of bars and restaurants

Cons:

The cushions on the terrace furniture were soaking wet so I couldnt sit on them, the room was a bit of a trek to get to around corridors and at the back of the hotel

Bra läge i gamla stan och nära stranden. Nyrenoverat och fräscht enkelrum och badrum. Ok frukostutbud.

Cons:

Enkelrummet var väldigt litet och trångt. Likaså litet och trångt i frukostlokalen som var inhyst i baren runt hörnet. Det kunde bli fullt och rörigt. Det var väldigt lyhört i rummet.

Despite location, the stay was not satisfying. The rooms are small, do not look as in the pictures.

I booked a twin room well in advance, yet upon arrival, I was given a room with a single double bed. When I requested the room type I actually paid for, I was told none were available. Instead of an apology or an attempt to make it right, the staff simply offered an apartment for an additional fee. It is unacceptable to advertise and confirm specific room types if you cannot guarantee them upon arrival. Very disappointed in the lack of accountability and poor customer service.

Pros:

The location is ideal, in the old town, on the corner of a quiet street on one side , opposite the Basilica on other side and on a lovely little plaza, near the airport bus stop, near the beach, port and restaurants. 24 hour reception and very friendly, helpful staff, even allowed me to practise my Spanish. Shower was fab, room was bright and clean. We would love to return. Thank you for a very enjoyable, comfortable visit for 5 days in Alicante.

The water in the sink didn't seem to warm up but the shower was really good and strong.
