Pros:

Close to work location, convenient and basically paid a fair price for what I got

Cons:

Unfortunately didn't get the time to use the facilities in the evening or morning, more of a flying work trip and will make more time next time.

Friendly Helpful Staff. Hotel has Potential
Pros:

The room was warm and quiet - one up from a travelodge. We had a bar snack in the evening which was very average - frozen chips for instance. We were booked for breakfast but didnt have it in the end so cant comment. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The standard of food that we had was very average. The property is dated and needs an overall. For instance the carpet in our room had seen better days and had more than one iron indentation in the carpet. Bathroom clean but shower and partition needs upgrading.

A very good value 2 night stay in a lovely family hotel
Pros:

The hotel was quiet and they gave us an upgrade from the budget room we booked which was a lovely surprise. The power shower was piping hot and the bed was very comfy. The pictures on booking.com do not do justice to the size of the hotel. There is a large dining area and other nooks where you can sit and watch the TV or play pool/games. The breakfast was very good and made to order. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very Friendly Staff. Hotel needs Updating.
Pros:

The Staff were very friendly and helpful indeed could not fault them. The room was warm and very quiet. One up from a travelodge room. However the room has seen better days and needs updating as do the other areas of the hotel that we saw. For instance two iron indentation marks on the carpet. Wallpaper peeling in one corner. We were a couple but only one towel was provided. I am sure that they would have provided another one but we were very tired and only there for one night. Evening meal - food very basic I would say frozen chips for instance. Overall the hotel has good potential.
