My expectations with such a cheap room tariff were easily exceeded as the main building was large comfortable and well laid out, the room I had twenty metres behind in a newer annexe, room 101. The menu is simple and unexciting, burgers pizzas and like but the daily special, help yourself, of chicken casserole mash and peas £18 to include a pint, was great. The breakfast better still with every delight available. I had the full English which matched any I have had in years, photo attached. The car park is massive too. For this location in one of the richest regions of England the price was astonishingly GREAT value.
I am no longer young and would like grab handles and a shower mat in the bath/shower, please. There is no food available outside of mealtimes and so if you show as me at 3pm you have a wait, bring a sandwich with you,
Always good and consistent.
N/A9
Plumbing was dodgy. Heating either too hot or too cold.
Possibilité d'avoir une chambre au rez-de-chaussée et on peut se garer directement devant la chambre (style motel)
Vaste salle d'eau moderne.
Great value for money and easy to find
Our very noisy neighbours. Kept us awake from midnight until 6am, shouting, laughing and later, arguing
It was quiet and clean and friendly staff.
The comments on this hotel raved about the breakfast. We were extremely disappointed. We went for breakfast at 0930 and with it finishing at 10am it was clear it was not going to be replenished and we had warmish dry food. The photo of the breakfast and the comments led us to believe that the food would be fresh, but it was tinned tomatoes and mushrooms. Not what we were expecting, I would have saved our money and stopped somewhere else for breakie had I known.
Bath in our lodge 108 needs attention to the bath panel and tiling
What a great little place, couldn't have been made more welcome exceptional hospitality
Nice room, great value, good breakfast.
Checking out was a bit delayed.
Great room, friendly staff, lovely food and great value. Sticky toffee pudding was ace...!
Very mice
Excellent staff and tasty food.
Comfy beds and a clean well appointed en-suite with excellent shower pressure.
Plentiful safe parking right outside the room.
A decent breakfast.
Cosy and clean rooms. The price was so low, my husband made me double check that it wasn't a hostel 😅
Loved everything.
Breakfast on the first morning was amazing, BUT.......on the second day they had more guests to cater for and it was a buffet and no fried eggs available. There was no breakfast menu available to see.
There was a very large car park
Can recommend the pizzas
No information leaflet in room, to say what the meal times were
No fried eggs available on second morning, No breakfast menu to choose what you wanted. Bread served on buffet counter still in its original plastic bread bag
