Nice quiet warm and comfortable room. Comfy bed, loads of hot water- fabulous pizza in the restaurant! Amazing value too.
The main reception areas and dining room weren't that warm- but with an extra layer it was ok.
Enjoyed a very nice stay here.
Janet? Jenny? The receptionist was exceptionally welcoming and really made our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome - what a star!
The room was unexpectedly nice considering the budget price - comfy beds and clean and modern.
Being able to park right outside the room was also a bonus.
Our dinner was nice and the smash burger was exceptional.
Breakfast was also really tasty with exceptional mushrooms, thick quality bacon and lovely crispy hash browns.
As an overall experience it was incredibly good value for money and we will definitely return.
What a Smashing hotel. Lovely warm welcome when we arrived from Janet. which continued throughout our stay as she was also there for breakfast . Lovely lady who works very hard . we met her sister in the morning also very helpful and chatting we had one very minor issue which i discussed with them and it was soon sorted , thank you for that as i was so nervous telling you . we had an annex room which backed onto the fields so nice and quiet , the room lovely and tidy , has everything you need, towels , loo rolls , iron , ironing board , hairdryer , which i’ve been to many places and they don’t have , a blanket at the bottom of the bed if you feel a little chilly . a spare pillow if you need one . very spacious, don’t be tempted to turn up the radiator as a little chilly when arrived at the room. so i turned it up a little , and we cooked at night 😂. i’d say 2 is the right setting . The bathroom radiator didn’t work but because we’d warmed the room up we just left the bathroom door open and let the heat in that way . oh just one thing !! the room could do with a loo brush . but apart from that everything perfect. hotel very clean and tidy , bar lots of choice , and ryan the chef cooks the food just how you’d like it , if you ask for it a certain way he’s more than happy to help you . thank you ryan the food on friday eve and breakfast sat morning we’re both delishious , it’s the biggest omlette i ever had and was cooked just how i like it thank you . we both had a very pleasant stay. Thank you so much to all at the hotel .
Oh just one last thing they also hold weddings there and apparently is very popular . plenty of parking also . if we are in the area again we will return .
