Fantastic central location, gorgeous building, huge room
Pros:

One of our best stays in Sri Lanka. We had a huge twin room (2 double beds) in this beautiful historic building. The location is amazing - right in the middle of everything. We were working remotely and the communal spaces (sofas and dining areas) were a bonus - this place would be great for a group rental with all the open plan communal space. The lack of breakfast was not an issue for us at all as Galle is full of lovely cafes within easy walking distance, there is a kitchen in the house we could have used. The staff were lovely and helpful with laundry etc.

Struttura in cui respiri la storia : una gran bella villa dal sapore coloniale, con arredi del periodo.
Posizione ottima per girare il centro di Galle

Cons:

Qualche ammodernamento in più non sarebbe male , ma siamo stati anche fortunati 😊 I primi ad avere un frigobar in camera (vuoto perché era stato appena installato, ma c’era )

Beautifully restored and furnished old building, a touch of luxury, with lovely staff

We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Beautiful place in the fort area but quiet and peaceful. Was a great advantage to have kitchen facilities at our disposal. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Onze kamer stonk naar mottenballen. Heel sterke vieze lucht, kwam uit klerenkast. Moet nodig wat aan gedaan worden.

A charming, well-located hotel
Pros:

We had a big room with two large beds. It was very spacious, with a high ceiling. We were just at the entrance. The place is charming. They have enough plugs for all the appliances. They kept our luggage after checkout time. The hotel is really well located, near the main shopping street and the lighthouse.

Cons:

There is no restaurant. You have to eat out, including for your breakfast. But this is not a problem at all since you have so many options, just a short walk from the hotel.

Absolutely worth staying here if you are in Galle!
Pros:

Exceptionally done and maintained place. A very pleasant stay and good facilties. Fantastic location. The manager and staff were both exceptional and very supportive. Right from washing and drying clothes in their machine, letting us use the kitchen and then cleaning it and doing utensils, arranging tuk-tuk and guiding about medical support etc. They even accommodated their booked geusts elsehwere to make sure that we could extend our stay because of one person having been hospitalised. Rooms were large and bright, so were the bathrooms. All the market and restaurants are about 100 meters to 500 meters from here.

Cons:

IT has just three four rooms so perhaps its too much to expect - but a breakfast would help!

Pros:

The location was excellent with everything at walking distance beach was just 5 min walk. The villa itself was gorgeous with huge room and bathroom and a lovely terrace .very nicely kept villa and loved the interior
